He really improved in McVeigh then went back to being average after he left.

Proof, it is was needed, that threats of violence improve the performance of footballers. How was Yogi not a success?

Does that John McVeigh is a tit thing still work for McVeigh?

Ah, good to see it does.

Strange question to ask. Frank hasn't posted lately sb.

Frank must be self-isolating. Hopefully he is staying safe 🌈 and working on his ranting. That Dumbarton guy will be sad to see the back of him. Frank will need to find a new nemesis in the Championship.

‪Brian Hetherston scored the only goal of the game as Raith came out on top at Somerset Park.‬

‪Brian Hetherston came off the bench to score for the second week in a row to earn Rovers a point against Airdrie.‬

‪Falkirk leapfrogged Raith into 3rd place with a victory at Brockville.‬

I think he played in the Airdrie and Falkirk games above, scored the next Saturday at home to Inverness (when we used to beat them at Starks Park as well), then the following two Saturdays the games were postponed.

By our next game (after Christmas), his loan was up and Dargo was fit again after his bad injury in the Livingston game.

Maclean more of a doubt now

I know St Johnstone have a history of left field appointments but MacLean would be a big gamble. He might end up on the coaching team though.

Just on here to mention that MacLean is expected to join us as first team coach this week, after Callum Davidson is appointed as manager later today.

Likely to retire, which means you'll have seen his last ever game as a player.

That's a shame, was hoping he'd sign on for another year here, could still provide a useful service for us in the championship (or league 1 if Hearts got their way)

Any word on whether there's any likelihood of Steven Anderson doing the same?

Theres no mention of him at all, but I'm sure he said he wanted to keep playing.

MacLean said the same though.

In an interview just before the football stopped, he said that he wanted to keep playing and thought he had another year or 2 in him still.

Wish MacLean all the best though. Hope Anderson does end up back at us although Partick fans are hoping he heads back to them as well.

McLean was a signing who changed our season. Can't speak highly enough of his work rate off the ball. He had struck up a good understanding with Baird and I genuinely believe we would have still won the league with how his form was picking up had all 36 games been played. Interesting to see who we end up with up front having lost all our recognised forwards other than Vaughan who is injured (aside from the relatively untested Jack Smith).

What’s the deal with Tade? Hasn’t kicked a ball in a couple of seasons. Take it he’s done?

I see Danny Mullen has been released by St. Mirren. His name was banded about by some in January.
