The New Raith Rovers Thread

Does anyone else think we will have Nike kits next season? Seen a few posts questioning whether the puma deal has expired, and noticed in the awards night videos that a few players had the same Nike tops on.

I was never that impressed by Watson at Rovers. He was part of an absolutely atrocious defence under Murray and appeared to me to have a poor attitude.

I'm amazed he ended up at Dundee United.

Did we have an atrocious defence under Murray?

Watson was okay.

I don't think we'll have Nike kit next season.

Watson is a good player. Bit of pace about him too from what I remember.

Goals from Shaun Dennis, Ally Graham and Danny Lennon gave Rovers the win at McDiarmid Park, sending them to their first semi final in 31 years.

17 year old Brian Potter was the penalty shootout hero as 10 man Raith overcame Airdrie to reach the Coca-Cola Cup final.

On the eve of the Coca-Cola Cup final, Chick Young headed to Kirkcaldy to get a sample of the mood in the Raith camp before the big day. Featuring interviews with Rovers players of past and present, manager Jimmy Nicholl, and one lucky young supporter.

“dancing in the streets” - How Raith Rovers won the Coca-Cola Cup. The dramatic inside story of the club’s first ever trophy success is now available online for the first time, 26 years after it’s release. A must see for all Rovers fans.

Lol!
where are they going to find the necessary £500,000 they'd needs on top of the £600,000 they’re hoping to bag for Nizzy?

Watson signing for the Pars it seems. Good to see they're still recklessly splashing the cash.

Absolutely mental that any football club (at this level anyway) is signing players when we have absolutely no idea when the next time is that a ball will he kicked.

Yep. If they agree a deal now it's madness.

Good to hear Bill Clark mention that if the furlough scheme is extended, we’ll be looking to extend the contracts of all of our staff, even those out of contract, so that they can continue to be paid while uncertainty remains in the game.

It’s the type of thing (along with looking after our injured players) that will help build our reputation as a club that players want to play for.
