Is that real or a piss-take!? If that’s real then Brancos free-kick maybe did more damage than we initially thought....

Awful!

I got more out him in the 2 mins we spent queueing for a pie the last time I was at the Rock.

I wonder if we will continue to pay the remainder of salaries which aren’t covered by the government scheme?
Paying ~20% of the wage bill would seem the right thing to do if we can afford it rather than have people taking a wage cut.

Another issue is what happens to those players when who's contract with us expires with us in June, will we be allowed renew their contracts or will the government say that's not allowed? In such a scenario we could lose players to other clubs (though only if they can afford to also).

At long last an FA thats actually showing a pair if gonads and making a decision, whether its right or wrong whilst our blazers drag their heels.

Agreed. There’s no way this season will be completed. Not without severely impacting on next season, which just creates a domino effect.

Call this season off now and use the next week or two to decide how best to resolve the obvious issues.

There is one game left in the regular season and Club Brugge were 15 points clear. They've also not made a decision on European spaces or relegation. You're comparing apples and oranges.

Why not? This season can run late, there is no reason to start the next season in its usual place. Teams could play each other twice, there could be expanded play offs, the League Cup and Challenge Cup could be suspended for a year or the League Cup could go back to full knock out, the Scottish Cup could not have replays for a season... there are ways of fitting in next season in a truncated way, and if player contracts can be automatically extended for 6 months or some other workable solution can be found then there's no reason to not see if we can get this current season finished.

Surely the Euros next year is as good a reason as any to start next season as close to normal as possible? Especially if Scotland qualify.

Still another 10 games to go for the Jupiler Pro League Championship playoffs though so Club Brugge still weren't mathematically winners. It's like saying Celtic are 13 points clear with 3 games to go but in reality they have 8 games to play.

Bill Clark was interviewed  on off the ball/ open all mikes and said if this situation continues into August/September its not inconceivable club could fold..in his conversations with other club chairmen this applies to many other clubs who are in a worse position than ours

If it gets that bad surely the club can at least ask Fulham to pay the money owed for Kieran I would think its highly unlikely for a club like Fulham to shaft us.

I know I'll get some smart arse responses but how did clubs survive during WW2 it's the same situation where everyone is in the same boat if it sadly means joblosses then so be it .
No one will be signing players and with clubs being on lockdown the running costs should be quite low.
