I’ll happily view that story for a while if the replacement might be the sale of Bowie and/or Tait...just saying, be careful what you wish for. On a serious note, I’d rather no signing than a frantic grab for a has-been or player “with potential”. The League title is possible, and the playoffs seem a fair chance, as is. I’d rather not risk the chemistry of this team with a divisive signing, or the budget with a reach, to “ensure” the title. The slow, steady prudent approach has worked so far...it may just continue working. If the gaffer doesn’t see value to be signed, don’t sign anyone. What if any potential deal involving Kieron Bowie and a possible loan back will involve garenteed playing time for the player?
