renton
I mean, imagine a forward line of Victoria, Anderson and Vaughan, and that was it. We'd be wrapping Vaughan's knees in adamantium.

Not panic, but you know there is enough wiggle room in interpretation to suggest that the above would be 3 out of his 4 strikers, for example.
grumswall
We already have 2 strikers signed up and that's not including Vaughan or Nisbet. It really depends what system mcglynn wants to play next season. He went with 361 essentially in the playoffs so there's reason to think that's how we will shape up next season. Hendry and macdonald signing suggest this could happen but if what airdrie fans say about vitoria when Murray came in are true (and we do sign him) then that's baffling.

They are wingers. Do to buy these players to make up for the goals of Nisbet we would be playing 4 up front.
pantene proV
I don't think we'll be playing out and out wingers this season though, most likely guys to run the channels and full backs bombing forward
Scary Bear
Good to see that we're holding out rather than giving the players a pat on the head and sending them on their merry way for f**k all. Wait till he tells them he has always supported the Pars.

Really strange one this. His form tailed off big time last season for Stranraer and was even dropped at one point, looking like his best days were behind him, don't think many Stranraer fans will be fussed he's left.
raith1974
Agree don't think this is the type of signing we should be looking at. Never been one that likes to go back to former players.

mealsonwheels
If John believes it to be the right signing I'm fully behind him until it is proved otherwise. It isn't about 1 player it's about the team. We don't know I'f Anderson brings a good vibe to the dressing room.

Who would have had Bobby Linn for player of the year at the start of the season? Sometimes a team can be greater than the sum of its parts.
