Worth noting that McGlynn has tried to keep every regular member of last season’s defence, with the exception of Murray who was under contract anyway - going by the chairman’s interview, he even tried to keep Callum Crane. And additionally he’s offered a deal to Dean Lyness. Is he pinning our defensive woes solely on Nat Wedderburn? Only player you could describe as defensive who he’s voluntarily got rid of. No news on a right back a position which needed addressed last season.
