A certain fans favourite Keeper is coming back as a part time player / coach.

I’ll look forward to people saying it’s just a glorious rumour, then proving you wrong when everyone goes off their tits when it’s announced!

Robert Sloan could probably still do a job at set pieces.
I can still remember someone on this very website dismissing Robert Sloan's ~20 assists in a season because "most of them were from set pieces", as if that was some sort of devalued currency.

You can do a lot worse in this division than having an immobile lump who can ping a dead ball into a wheelie bin in a gale force wind.

Hopefully there will be some movement in the next couple of days as our contracts all expire today and I expect that most other clubs will be the same.

Last pay day today for any player at the end of their contract.

Should be plenty of movement next week as boys will want to be signed up and not lose a few weeks wages.

Wonder if Gary Wales is over his injury woes

He is absolutely not. We played a 5-a-side game against his work and he was manager because of an ongoing injury problem....

So according to the Courier Ross Kavanagh could be going on trial with us , hope not to be honest if that’s the type of player that we are after especially when you look at Airdrie, Forfar and East Fife who are attracting far better players however I appreciate its still early yet regarding signings etc. Regarding Nisbet and all the rumours it’s clear that it isn’t all cut and dry that he is leaving because why hasn’t it been announced yet?

Did you have the same thoughts when we signed Nisbet? He wasn’t a player that jumped out as being an exciting signing and came to us with not much in the way of glowing reviews from previous clubs and looked what happened.

A certain mr G. Tade was hardly an inspiring signing, even less so after pre season.

Dougie Hill, Mark Ferry, Davie Mcgurn are all examples of journeyman lower league footballers who went on to do a very good job for us. Brian Graham also didn't come with a great track record either.

All signed by McGlynn and all went on to do well.

Trust the manager.
