The ramshackled portacabins at the north end is probably the new changing rooms with a simple fix of tying into the current services at Starks. My only question is where is the pitch rental monies going?  To repay  Mr Sim for the New playing surface

Would you be happy to get changed in a portacabin in mid winter. Where are the toilet facilities etc. If its not in place by the start of the season then why the heck would you spend that kind of money and not utilise it properly. This will now be year 2 if the 7 year lifespan of the pitch.

Lets not forget how often we relaid the grass pitch and how much money we wasted on it because the groundsmen were clueless. We had specilaists in treating fungal infections and insect damage every year.

By year 3 the pitch will probably have paid for itself.

Frank, I think the lamps were what everyone would have used at the time of install, technology has moved on and LED lamps are now cheaper to install and much cheaper to run which will give savings when were using the floodlights, not a lot the club could have done different to be honest.

Getting Hendry is a great bit of business!

The new lamps are not LED ones they originally ordered lamps from the previous floodlights so they had to spend money to bring the riggers out a second time. Also it's a bit of a waste buying new lamps that don't work because of other problems. Ps Hendry is a great signing.

Sorry, I thought they were LED!, oh well at least more of them are working!

With Hendry pulling the strings in midfield and Matthews whispering grossly offensive slurs to wind up the opposition, I don’t see how anyone can stop us.

All we need to sign now is a knee replacement specialist and we’re odds on

Adam Eckersley leaving Forfar as prefers a hybrid system due to work commitments...why on earth are we not all over this like a rash

Seemingly Airdrie will be signing him.. Cmon rovers turn it up ... Mcglynn get a flight back from Spain and get him signed

McGlynn is probably focusing his efforts on getting Crane back...

Obviously but it would have helped if they had ordered the correct bulbs in the first place. Not to mention bringing in floodlight specialists in the first place it was pretty obvious it wasn't just a case of changing bulbs. Typical Rovers

And you know this to be absolutely 100% factually correct?

I’m not one for knee jerk reactions but I’ve booked the open top bus, and ordered face-paint and bunting from Amazon.

One MUST NOT make reference to knee jerk reactions:shutup in relation to RRFC!! ;)

Tenacious midfielder Ross Matthews (23) has accepted the contract offer made to him, and has committed to the club for the new season.

Ross gets stuck in against Forfar in the Playoff Semi Final

Ross made his debut for the Rovers in 2013 under former boss Grant Murray when current assistant boss Paul Smith was on the coaching staff.

Since then, Ross has clocked up 139 appearances, scoring 6 goals and has turned in several combative displays in key matches for the Rovers over the last 6 years.

“Rossco” is looking forward to pairing up with with new signing Regan Hendry as the management team continue preparations with a view to gaining promotion back to the SPFL Championship.

It's happening!

Frank is right on this one. My brother in law was one of the rope access guys who was initially called out to replace them. The club had ordered the wrong ones and had to call out another company (SM electrical) to work our what ones they actually needed.
