The New Raith Rovers Thread

Recommended Posts

Absolutely Drysdale is a w**k in this situation, but how many folk saw that potential? I seem to remember a fair few moans week in week out about Bates when he was playing with us.

It's really pleasing to see a Scottish player take the chance and throw themselves fully into it rather than the easy route into the English lower leagues because the money's good and there will be plentiful supplies of monster munch.

Aren't football fans a fickle lot? They will pounce on anything which they perceive is a mistake or an error of judgement and vent their spleens overloading social media sites with  vitriolic condemnations. However when the football club does something positive e.g. subsidising buses to the Hibs game is this met with pages of congratulatory messages? No chance.

This is a fantastic gesture from Raith Rovers which has resulted in a lot of extra work for the office staff and volunteers. £5 return to Edinburgh, on a day when public transport will be under severe pressure, ensuring our fans will be able to attend the game with the minimum of hassle should be universally applauded.

Well done the Rovers!!!

I think praise has been given on this forum when it has been deserved, I’ve seen people on this forum and the cup forum praising the buses, as well as the fantastic social media coverage, good signing McGlynn has brought in and the contract extensions that has happened. If you compare P&B with the donkeys on Facebook we are a nice wee bunch, who in my opinion do praise the club when it’s been appropriate

In principle, I do agree with your point regarding the fickleness of fans (of all clubs, not just RR!)

But, speaking as somewhat of an outsider, I've seen a decent amount of praise on here and on twitter for the subsidies for the buses, as well as praise from fellow outsiders like myself at the great uptake and support you're taking through.

You'll be waiting until Saturday at 3.00pm then.

With apologies to all the ‘snowflakes’ on here, who cream their panties with the ludicrous suggestion that it might hand the opposition an advantage, when facts show the opposite and being deluded enough to believe that anyone with half a brain would take seriously anything said on this rag.

After watching a bit of training today, McGlynn is unbelievably sticking with the same back four[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] (so from his downbeat post match interview last Saturday, he worryingly still hasn’t come up with the answer[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]). Playing a 4-3-3 that can become 4-5-1 with Wedderburn, Gillespie & Barjonas in the middle and up front Dingwall & Flanagan either side of Nisbet.

Of course he could have a Plan B up his sleeve[emoji1]

On the one hand i'm not convinced Hibs knowing will make a huge difference and to be fair what your describing is a pretty obvious setup for McGlynn tp put out.

On the other hand you know the club don't like you publishing these details so why someone who calls themselves a supporter would publish details that the club believes would be detrimental to the team's chances is beyond me and just smacks of being a dick for the sake of being a dick tbh.

Why don’t you stop shaving again until McGlynn changes it?

Guest The.Red.

If ' daysgoneby' was watching the team training from inside the ground , they were trespassing , if watching from elsewhere not much can be done , no sure if mcglynn will be all that bothered as what happens on matchday is what counts
