Stelios
Hearts have also been drawn at home so one of them will have to shift from the Saturday. There’s also rugby on at Murrayfield so expect trains to be rammed.

Ro Sham Bo
10,500 attended when we played Hibs at Easter Road in the same round in 2014, and that was the Hibs side that was on a downward spiral to relegation under Butcher.I would hope there will be a crowd of 12,000 or so which will at least see us earn £50-£60k and its a good day out.

Rugby at Murrayfield the same day, odds on this will get moved to Sunday, might tempt TV into showing it.

Surely the Hearts vs Auchinleck Talbot game is nailed on for the TV? I would think we would be on the Satuday and the game at Tynecastle on the Sunday?

Holy Marv
Out of hibs vs us and hearts vs auchinleck, I think the better game for tv would be our one... but because of auchinleck being bigger underdogs I’d agree they will go with auchinleck. There may also be a chance of both ties being moved from Saturday 3pm with the rugby on and a probable stretch in policing across Edinburgh. If it’s on the telly it wouldn’t matter too much for hibs as a fair few pubs down leith have hibs tv so if hibs fans didn’t want to go, they won’t and go to a pub instead but would more than likely make a hit to the numbers we take through.
Tony Stark(s Park)
Anyone know timing of this. When will it be announced if moved, when do tickets go on sale, when will Lewis Vaughan ever leave us?
Rovers_Lad
Both Hearts and Talbot already been shown by BBC this round so would be surprised if they chose to cover them again.Be even more surprising if setanta,a mean premier sport took the game.
Paco
Hibs are slated to play Aberdeen in a league fixture the same day Scotland play Italy, so clearly the police are okay with one football game going on at the same time. Really comes down to whether the BBC want to show Hearts-Talbot. You’d suspect they would, but if not we’re the most likely candidates to be shifted to the Sunday - you’d think it would be more difficult for Talbot to move games.

You'd imagine Police Scotland would be a wee bit more stretched trying to have Hearts at home with the Rugby on next door, than Hibs on the other side of the city.

When we played Hibs in the Scottish Cup the last time, Scotland were playing England at the back of 5 at Murrayfield and our kick off was brought forward to 2pm.
