Tony Stark(s Park)
Here’s a weird one, which scenario would you find better? A. Pars get more tickets, possibly outnumbering us at a home game but more money for the club B. Don’t give them extra because we want a higher crowd than what they bring, effectively costing us money

Give them as many as they can sell. It would probably mean another player for us.

With the away crowds we get in league 1 we need the boost to the coffers we wouldn't otherwise get. Only reason for b would be if we got celtic or the rangers away in the next round.

Yeah, that's option A chief. You're right though; take the money and run. Unless you win on Saturday (tbh not all that unlikely) then you won't get a bigger crowd for the rest of the season.
Ro Sham Bo
If the Railway stand is out of commission then there's nowhere else to put them if they sell out their existing allocation.
GhostZapper
Clubs still get a 50/50 split on ticket revenue (after game expenses) for cup games do they not?

I assume that’s what they mean when saying a decision on a cash gate has been delayed due to the levels of current demand. I’d imagine if the Pars sell out their allocation there won’t be a cash gate to ensure they don’t try to turn up in the Rovers end on the day.

Yeah, meant to say A! Purely from a financial point of view, the best option would be a full house tomorrow, drawing the game, then winning the replay.

Then going on to do the same with both the ugly sisters in succession along with all 4 games televised on Sky.

[emoji6]Problem with that of course is that Sky don't cover the Scottish Cup any more. Oh, and you're getting pumped tomorrow of course... Beastie Russell
Wonder how long it will take before the “we always lose when there’s a big crowd” line gets trotted out ?

That’s enough of that! You’re just automatically presuming we’re going to beat East Fife which is something we haven’t managed in 3 attempts this season so far.
