buchan30
Hopefully we can grind out a few 1-0s in the next few weeks. Give the defence a wee confidence boost. We look nervous at the back and it just always feels like a matter of time before we concede. A win against queens park would be good and see if we can get a bit of a cup run. Just give us something to cheer about.
RRFC2711
4 hours ago, Stevo Fife said: This is my last post on the subject. A few facts... I'm not from Methil. I've never lived in or near Methil in my entire life. My father came from Methil (left in 1950) hence the connection to East Fife. I actually live closer to Kirkcaldy. I've nothing against Methil nor its people. Plenty of fine folk live in Methil and Levenmouth. My first East Fife game was 1974 when my old man lifted me over the turnstile so that should tell you roughly how old I am. I've worked all of my adult life and have never been unemployed nor claimed benefits. I've never taken drugs (ok, I smoked hash once when I was 21 working in London). I'm happily married (to a woman Frank). That said I've nothing against folk that don't work or take drugs. (disclaimer) Life is full of choices Frank. I could go on, but don't want to sound more of a twat that you. I come on here for the football banter and the wind ups.I know a lot of Raith fans and the majority are sound fellas. Last weeks result doesn't happen very often so please forgive me for getting a bit carried away. I've even shared a few beers in Styx with my lino neeburs and got a lift to the game in a mini bus a few years back. Great day. Hope that dispels the myth Frank. Over and out. Were you the c*nt that bottled me in 74......?

Surely No
David Bates Friday November 16th 2018 Raith Rovers would like to congratulate former player David Bates on his call – up to the Scotland National team by manager Alex McLeish earlier this week. The national team play in Albania tomorrow evening, followed by a home match at Hampden v Israel on Tuesday evening in a Uefa Nations League double-header. After a rash of call – offs, former Raith Rovers academy player Bates (22) received the call to join the national squad in place of Blackburn’s Charlie Mulgrew. Bates in action for the Rovers in 2016 Everyone at Stark’s Park is delighted at the progress made by the young Fifer who hails from Rosyth, and is now plying his trade for Hamburg SV in Germany’s Bundesliga 2 after “Die Rothosen” (the Red Shorts) were relegated prior to his arrival in northern Germany Fills you full of pride. McGuigan1978
Some win for us today, especially with all part time teams wanting it more than us. Great stuff.

He text me to say he’d wished me a happy 53rd birthday from my Mum, Dad and family, but I wasn’t sure if he was being serious.
