Surely proof of entitlement doesn't involve phoning a GP for confirmation of a disability. A GP couldn't even disclose that sort of information to a complete stranger.

I'm lucky enough that none of my close friends or family are disabled but is there not some sort of blue badge you can use the same way you would with a student card?

Surely we don’t need another goalie? Seems like a waste of budget to me, unless Brian is away.

Another striker probably needed. Given the way we play I’d say it’s absolutely necessary he’s fast, and hard-working. Footballing ability preferred, but not necessary. Last season’s team was desperate for someone to force an error off a hopeless Thomson/Davidson/Benedictus punt.

Absolutely. And any GP doing so has most likely breached data protection laws.

I don't even think we need any more signings.

We've got our centre backs who can spend 90 minutes thumping the ball up to Duggan, while Buchanan and Vaughan try to feed off the scraps.

We can make up the numbers with the rest of our signed players because the long ball will miss them all out.

I think you are in for a disappointing time if you are expecting your team to thump long balls up the park and Duggan to win them and lay them off to the supporting forwards. His strength was running on to balls played over the defenders into space. Mind you he missed a few of one on ones as well. Also a bit greedy shooting from daft positions when others were better placed but time will tell he may prove me wrong.

I’m not particularly excited by the Duggan signing but it’s hard to take some of the reviews by the East Fife fans seriously. Was he not their best player just a couple of months ago? I wonder what changed their minds...

Duggan was excellent last season even with having to do a lot himself. I think he’s a better all round player than spence and if he stays injury free I’d be surprised if he isn’t the top scorer. He’s not a big target man though, his main problem last season was being used as one and not having enough support up with him.

This went through my head as well.
At the end of season keep/punt debate, 99% of them said keep.
Hell, even a couple of weeks ago I'm sure i read things along the lines of "just sign chris, do it!!".
Funny how a transfer to a clubs bigger brother can turn people.

Any Fife fan telling you Duggan's rank is talking nonsense. We played a 4-2-3----------------------------------1 last season, he was so isolated it's not even funny. He'll do fine, and will likely bag the same amount of goals. A very good signing at this level.

For the fourteenth summer in a row, I’m crossing my fingers that we’re bringing back Martin Hugo Prest.

I'll never forget the nick of him swanning around Jackie O's with a white 3 piece suit on like he thought he was going to a Monte Carlo casino.
