Given the way we play I’d say it’s absolutely necessary he’s fast, and hard-working. Footballing ability preferred, but not necessary. I think you are in for a disappointing time if you are expecting your team to thump long balls up the park and Duggan to win them and lay them off to the supporting forwards. His strength was running on to balls played over the defenders into space. Mind you he missed a few of one on ones as well. Was he not their best player just a couple of months ago? I wonder what changed their minds... Duggan was excellent last season even with having to do a lot himself. I think he’s a better all round player than spence and if he stays injury free I’d be surprised if he isn’t the top scorer. We played a 4-2-3----------------------------------1 last season, he was so isolated it's not even funny. He'll do fine, and will likely bag the same amount of goals.
