Robin.Hood
Just keep ignoring them, there is no legal requirement ( gas/electric regulations) to have them.So this by end of 2020 is a lot ot shite ?Say if I did get one, and changed supplier ( which I will be ) does the meter work for all suppliers? Probably a daft question
welshbairn
Would it not be a good idea to get your fuse box, meter and associated wiring etc upgraded for free, especially if it's old? If you refuse that might be the end of their legal responsibilities.

However see if I move company I presume the meter would just stop working and that be it ? I'm never gonna use it

Yup, this. I’ve moved into a rental and cheapest supplier was EDF but Scottish power fitted the smart metre. EDF can’t access it so I’ll be sending metre readings.
Rizzo
I managed to lose my wallet in Airdrie today, drove home to Falkirk, realised that it had fallen out the car door and drove back to where I'd lost it (the Highland petrol station). Found it lying in the road but all the cards had been swiped (there was no cash in it). Phoned the bank and cancelled all the cards and they hadn't been used at that point. Husband reckons it's worth reporting to the police as he thinks they'll be interested to see who attempts to use the stolen cards. I don't think they'll be remotely interested given the cards were cancelled before they could be used. Which of us is right here?

My mate had his wallet swiped from the pub and the cards were used (strangely) for three seperate transactions at no more than £10. The police never gave a shiny. Basically told him they couldn't get CCTV so he should be happy it was only under £30 he lost.

You can watch it on any TV you put your account details into. You're allowed (I think) up to 5. Edit : that's a very expensive way to watch Sky Sports. BFTD
I take out a week's Now TV subscription for Scotland games and switch between watching on the computer and on the TV through the app on our PlayStation 3 (bleeding edge gamer). They've been working on implementing red button tech "any day now" for years, so you invariably get stuck watching Eire grind out a draw with Georgia while actual Sky users can watch the Faroes win 6-5 against Luxembourg
