Apparently Morrisons are selling the canned version which is 3.8%, which does seem relatively low.

Just looked at the Wiki page.

When it was launched it started out at 5.2% then they reduced it to 4.2, and the most recent version lowered again to 3.8. It'll be non alcoholic next ffs!!

This happens to some degree with most premium beers/lagers. They come out at 5% then reduce in strength when they're no longer premium. I'm sure Becks, Stella Red stripe etc are all 4.something now.

It's the beer equivalent of shrinking chocolate bars and is purely a cost measure.

What was the name of the chewing gum in the early eighties which said its flavour was long lasting?

The advert on ITV was a blatant rip off of Deep Thought from the Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy which goes to sleep for millions of years.

Thanks

See when folk are saying they 'used to like a pint of Velvet'.  What do you actually mean? Is it not available anymore?

Please be gentle if your answer is going to negative.

Let's put it this way - if you have any tins lying around, drink them very, very sparingly.

Why does the BBC pay to advertise the likes of 'The Apprentice' on P&B?

What's the point if they're funded by the TV licence? There must be a reason.  Hope it'll get used on Netflix or something?

... and in the presence of a trained medical professional given the shelf life of such things.

For maths types....

If a car doing 30 passes into a 40, at what rate of acceration would it need to be up to 40 within 100 yards, and is it realistic?

http://instantphysics.com/motion/equations-of-motion/

need a constant acceleration of 0.76 m/s^2 which would give you 5.8 seconds to reach the speed.

Since most cars can go from 0-60 mph in 10 seconds, going from 30 to 40 in 5.8 seconds is a piece of piss.

So in summary you aren't going to get off your driving charge.
