Not turning as time goes by so the boiler stays on. Its a mechanical and not digital one on a Worcester Bosch. MT10 is the model number of the timer and the boiler itself is fine. Anyone ever changed one themselves or should I fork out for a plumber to do it? I've seen they are about £60 online which is a relief but bearing in mind I'm a tight fisted b*****d id do it if it was reasonably straightforward. 2 hours ago, Florentine_Pogen said: We have the same timer and are on number 3 after having boiler installed 7 yrs ago. These particular units are "a piece of shit", according to our heating guy. What I now do is put all the wee pegs to the ON position and just switch the heating on/off manually as req'd. Not ideal but works fine for us. Might be worth enquiring if the digital timer can be installed. As FP suggests, look into a digital programmer, they are a piece of piss to swap, but remember and turn off the power first.

Thanks folks. @Zen Archer (Raconteur) is it just a simple case of unplugging the old and swapping it for the new one?

Do you have the user/installation instruction for the boiler? The information for installation is usually in the pictogrammes.

Does seem overly simple to do though after watching this so will give it a bash!
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
How can adopting a penguin possibly save penguins? Is there a private penguin police force I haven't heard about?

If there is a private police force and they get a tip off about a fugitive's hideout do they go round and p-p-p-p-pick up a penguin?
Dan Steele
There's a tremendous penguin story in Lutz Pfannenstiel's book The Unstoppable Keeper. Spoiler He stole a penguin and kept it in his bath, allegedly.

The next 4-5 teams down account for one cheeks attendance. The next 15-20 account for the other. I’d guess the fourth tier, highland league, juniors, regionals account for the same again. Rangers had 500 million fans apparently but they died so don’t count.

I imagine the proportion of people who identify as fans of most non OF clubs that attend matches is way higher than those who identify as an arsecheek but dont show in the attendances. I guess what I am saying is yer average Arbroath attendance might account for 60% of folk who are Arbroath fans, but that figure is way way lower for the cheeks given the sheer number of glory hunting fannies that follow them.

johnnydun
I don't think you have to go to the ground to be classed as a fan. Buy the top, watch on TV each week etc.. is enough to be classed as a fan. I would say probably about the 30% mark also.
