I've never got the attraction of non-barbecue garden based fires. The window of days where it's dry, cold enough you need a fire but not so cold you can't sit still are so small in this country you'd need to own the thing for about seven centuries before you can say you've had your money's worth.

Cos fire is fucking class.

Also, if there is a fire, I will cook something on it.

Also, I can incinerate stuff with it (not bodies*)

*probably some bodies but not many.

I use mine as a barbecue and simply because I enjoy chopping stuff up with a big axe and burning it. Is that a crime?

Any of you judgemental b*****ds see any problems with that?

Glad to oblige. Could always be a competitor's review of course.

FYI in future I generally just like to be told what I want to hear in these scenarios.

Got a terracotta chimnea, gets used about once a year, waste of time. IMO.

You have a more efficient crematorium for the boys victims?

Looks like a glorified toast rack, more style over substance.

Go with the traditional clay chimnea if it's proper heat you are after, it'll 'weather' better too & be a nice decorative ornament when the novelty wears off.

Toast racks are excellent. Rugster is quite right about a cool bit of toast and there's nothing like a toast rack for achieving toast nirvana.

As if it couldn’t get worse for Rugster, you’ve endorsed his oddball ways. He’ll probably have a rethink now.

Not that it was ever that difficult anyway, but if there is an easy route into Mrs Par's knickers it's toast left to cool on a rack, served with plenty of butter.

Then just say that, don’t kid on you like it (the cold toast, I mean)
