The sauce is much thicker. Following on from this wondrous discovery, does anyone know anywhere that sells tins of spaghetti with tomato sauce at a decent ratio. Heinz effort is pathetic and you just end up with soggy toast.

If you leave it in the pan for longer so some of the sauce boils in you get less sauce and it's thicker, but it generally breaks the spaghetti up a bit.
Guest Moomintroll
'Convoy System' contraflows at road works - why? What's the extra benefit? I went through a contraflow on the way to Dunfermline yesterday (think the wee place is called Crossford) which was only about 400m long, and controlled by temporary lights. But, on top of that, there was a dude in a 'Control Van' shuttling back and forward at the front of the traffic every time. How do you get an easy gig like that?

Intended to slow ALL traffic down to the speed of the control van, including anyone who is really in a hurry and hasn't got time to obey the new speed limit.

It's God's way of telling you to pull into the big Stephens outlet at the lights in Crossford and get some fine pies etc. The Stovies are good too.

I’m having a roast leg of lamb if that helps, I forgot to get fresh rosemary for it though and will need to pop out to the shops again.
