Best place to park the car for George Square in Edinburgh?

Maybe somewhere around Marchmont then it’s just a straight walk across the meadows. Watch out for the lightning that looks to be on the way in to town. You should be safe enough though.

Plenty parking about there then? I was looking at car parks round about but never drive to Edinburgh so pretty clueless.

As for the lightning, il wear a hat with a long metal spike on it. Would hate for my kids to get zapped instead of me.....

If you’re not familiar with the place, the big green bit on the map near where you’re going is the Meadows and anything on the south side of it in the residential bits will be free and probably less traffic etc. Or park on any of the streets around the pubic triangle.

Advice please. My flight from London to Glasgow was cancelled tomorrow so I took a refund and booked a train. The flight has now been reinstated and I'm being offered the flight again. Am I best just sticking with the train? Or do I have some recourse to get compensation if I went on the flight?

Are the train tickets refundable? If so, can the train and fly. Email the flight provider saying what a shambles it is and how you’ve had to change stuff at your expense looking for compo is my advice.
I’d probably just stick with the train in reality because I’m a lazy idiot.

Pretty sure you were due 250 euros for the flight being cancelled plus the refund, so they'll be saving money if they pay your train fare and give you the flight back. So you have leverage to ask for the train fare back + the flight.
