Livingston - all the threads merged

Recommended Posts

EdinburghLivi really ought to be having more pressing mattters to deal with rather than Beria-style inquisitions of those who dare to highlight Livingston's monsterous hypocrisy, gross incompetence and conceit.

For a start, a visit to a decent menswear outlet to rid him of silly button tops.

If that is truly the case, I apologise.

Weak? No, I think the amount of posts you dedicate to us shows I have a very strong case. More about us than about Falkirk, fact. For the record, I think you're fully entitled to hate us because you were cheated out of money.

Going to get the police on me?

As an aside, what is the pickwick thread? I must say, I've never been in it.

I might have gotten the name wrong, but it was on the other LL forum. Unleashed? Unlieshed? Something like that. it was certainly running a few weeks back, and going by PLL's reaction, it must still be going. The basic premis seems to be that CDE carries on his love affair with long gone historical figures, and drives this into a land of faux Victorian fantasy.........the kind of stuff most adult males immerse themselves in from time to time. It provides an alternate non footballing vehicle in which the participants (present company excepted) can make preposterous contributions without yer average Joe ripping them to pieces. They can indulge themselves in clever and witty wordplay. Dickensian it might be, Dickens it ain't. I would advize a bit of caution if you intend reading it through. A couple of pages is more than enough. After that, two feelings/emotions tend to open up........a feeling of extreme nausea, and an overwhelming sense of pity for the main protagonist. The latter passes quite quickly (particularly if you are familiar with his revisionist LFC pieces). The former hangs around for a while.

It's an acquired taste in writing which I sincerely hope to never acquire.

Duncan you were warned! You now shall be punished- Madame Phantom is VERY good with the whip. ;)

Y'see, that's the style of stuff on Pickwick, but you missed out a "thee", a "verily" and a "thy" to make it ring true.

Even in the relative safety of P&B, it makes me want to heave.

I'm just wondering what is his motive when he's clearly not an innocent Kelty Hearts fan that he seems to be masquerading as.

Meh, let them get on with it. It's doesn't sound like my taste either but it's just a non-football thread that has probably let them have a break from worrying about the club (I know it's older than that).

When's yer next appeal being heard then.. Soon I hope..

Heard said it should be early next week Ghostie, will you be attending the big wait on this thread again with plenty of funny pic's to distract me from my nerves? :D

Another thing I've not got a clue about is the scratched game punishment, Do you think they will do it after & depending on the appeal?

Hopefully I will be back at work next week ( I have now been at home for 3 weeks with tendonitis). I am starting to get stir crazy. The only time I have been out in that time has been to go to the football...

As for the extra punishment, I would hope that when your appeal fails (AGAIN) that they decide that being in the 3rd is punishment enough. I would only be happy to see a points deduction should Livi then cause more disruption by taking the case to the law courts. In fact, If they were to instigate legal action I would then be calling for them to be thrown out completely..Lets hope they don't eh!!!!!

Is it not time most of the posters on this thread pissed off back to the 1st Division forum :P

Isn't't it time Livi...oh, wait...

Duncan you were warned! You now shall be punished- Madame Phantom is VERY good with the whip. ;)

That might add a few to the gate at Shielfield for Saturday :D

I am actually worrying about myself now. When I log in to P and B I find myself automatically drawn to this thread before I go and look to see if there is anything about my own Club.

Maybe I need specialist help. Mind you, that probably goes without saying, as an Airdrie supporter.

Considering the number of posts/views most are in the same boat!

I don't understand it myself, only explanation I can come up with is that too many people are waiting for us to die. :P

This is the king of threads. Yes siree never any half measures with Livi. Another of our many recent contributions to the game.

Now I think I have possibly said something in those comments which will upset oor Duncan. Most things do. I hope he takes deep breaths before he replies. Will await with trepidation.
