LogieLivi
On the Hardie debate I can see both views, we are giving him some terrible service so he’s going to struggle but does he give you enough up top without the ball ? Look at Robbo today, he was outstanding at getting infront of his man, bringing the ball down, dragging defenders towards him leaving space for others. If it was me I think I’d rather see Tiffoney given more time infront of Hardie, he’ll be here next season, it’s unlikely Hardie will so let’s see more of what he can do, from what I’ve seen so far he’s got excellent potential. The **** regularly play with one up top. So how can he sign for a team that he doesn't fit into?

Cptn Hooch
Just saw the goals back there on the alba rerun....I've never noticed just how quick Lawson is...he seems to swagger through the game but the pace he showed at the 3rd goal was immense
orco
I'll judge Hardie when plays in a game when he's not left on his own as the rest of the team go into defence mode. He came on today at a time whenever we're sitting in hanging on to our lead. Last week he came on too late to be able to do anything in the horizontal rain and swirling wind. He did well when Menga was on with him before Christmas and also last season when Miller flicked a lot of balls on for him.
Afro
I’d actually go as far to say that Lawson has been our best player since Christmas. Last couple of games in particular he’s really come into it and shown a great degree of flexibility, won his MOTM in the middle of the park and was comfortable out wide left, culminating in the third goal. Would definitely tie him down on a longer deal because he could be a key player for us next year.
Livilion28
I’m sure Lawson signed a 2 year. He was good today probably his best game but I wouldn’t say he’s been our best player since Xmas. He was very poor up until Xmas but has done much better the second half of season so far. Hopefully he keeps it up , he looks a good player.
andylivi1
TalkLivi Episode four is out now... On this weeks podcast we hear from Gary Holt and Craig Halkett who both give their reaction to the St Johnstone result. We then review the game, discussing the ins and outs of the performance and result. We spoke exclusively with Stevie Lawless who spoke about THAT playoff game, his move to Livi, who he didn’t like on his first days training, his future, and he spoke pretty openly about 3G pitches too. Our Livi dud 11 feature continues as midfielders take centre stage this week. Next up is Talk Livi question time as we answered as many of your questions as we could. I spoke to Aberdeen fan Stuart Wood who helped preview our next opponents. Finally we preview the next game and give our predictions. Below is links to the show on many different sites... EdinburghLivi
I liked the FBT kits so this is slightly disappointing. Fingers crossed that our new kits won't look too generic like the above top.

I think it's a safe assumption that any kit we get from Nike will be a generic number
thruthenight
Yeah, I had no qualms with the FBT kits. Think this years one is excellent tbh. Still, let's see what next season brings.

Shame the PFA don't think his opinion counts though.

I've liked the FBT kits, however I've also noticed the players' tops always seem to ripped at the chest by the end of the game so assume the quality isn't good enough and they're probably spending more money to replace the ripped tops so would make sense going for Nike. Just hope we get some decent looking kits -

Shame the PFA don't think his opinion counts though. Yeh he’s a top bloke, really funny guy and quite open and honest which makes for a great listen. We could see the difference between Lee Miller who was very well spoken and could tell he’d had some form of media training and Stevie Lawless who was really open and happy to tell us everything we wanted. As you say it was particularly pleasing to hear what he had to say about the 3G pitches but he was also fair in his assessment, criticising Killie’s and Hamilton’s last season.
andylivi1
On the deal with Nike I’m not too bothered either way, I really like this season’s kits and I don’t mind FBT stuff but I’ve noticed the service has been pretty poor, slow delivery, shop never stocked up, and I believe this was a business decision as well so got to take that into account. I’ve no idea what to expect from Nike but I’m sure some will like the new kits and others won’t, that’s the way of the world and it’s all down to individual taste.
