You're right, though, if his words go out to a national audience then you want to see only a positive face being projected. When i was driving down to the game on Saturday and listening to football chat on the radio, they announced they were going to Livi for an interview with Martindale, it was the interview put up on our site twitter feed, they'd just lifted it from there. Pretty much everything he says will find itself in the wider media. Player/coach role too. He was born here, went to St Margaret's too so there's a link to it. I can't see him wanting to drop to League 1 to go to Falkirk like he'd spoken about, maybe if they went up but who knows. That would be one hell of a signing, still looks impressive when he comes on as a sub, always a thorn in our side too. I could see him having a good relationship with Davie off the field but I don't think it would be enough. I can understand that our initial budget is going to be smaller than usual but I think we've all accepted that Nouble will be away anyway so won't exactly be a shock and I'd like to think DM has already been thinking about how best to replace him. We all know from experience he's very thoroughly prepared every season, and has done research well in advance. He's known for months the players that will be leaving, and areas we need signings.
