Good enough squad player; does the job but nothing spectacular. That's the last of our Partick contingent gone then.

Frees up a wage to bring in our foreigner left footed DM/CH.
LIVIFOREVER
Stunning turnaround in our away form this season, esp under DM, including Hampden we've 5 wins and a draw in our last 6 away games, since DM took charge. Not heard a peep from the usual suspects about us only being able to play on plastic either, and how our plastic pitch is the only reason we're 5th in the league, funny that.

Also signed from Ayr Edited February 1, 2021 by ATLIS

ATLIS
Interesting that he still needs his work permit but we seem confident of getting it
Chuck Blazer
I thought that Brexit would have prevented any non-elite foreign players from getting a work permit, so I'm surprised we're confident.
EdinburghLivi
Think there are slightly relaxed rules in Scotland compared to England regarding rules around foreign players. Edited February 2, 2021 by EdinburghLivi

Chuck Blazer
Serious question: does the Spaghettihad meet CL criteria?

Few years ago we were one of the only clubs to not be awarded a certification, so possibly not. Although I would imagine the recent upgrades around the stadium (dugouts etc) would mean we qualify for at least the minimum.
Eugene Dadi's Resurrection
Good to see the club have permanently honored David Martindale of Nazareth's magnificent contribution to the club over the years. Thank you David, long may you reign

Aye, the SFA/SPFL managed to secure autonomy for deciding on foreign player signings, at least for this window just been. Hopefully they noticed Durmus scoring the winner against Celtic for St Mirren on Saturday and so recognise the value foreign players can offer us smaller clubs. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/sport/amp/football/55410203
Durnford
Am getting a trifle worried about the number of injuries we're picking up in our central defence. So far we have the following players out. Guthrie Lithgow Fitzwater Brown (returned to Cardiff) This kind of leaves us at the bare bones defensively although the schedule does ease to one game a week after Saturday week
orco
Hopefully Guthrie will recover for the weekend. According to Martindale he wasn't injured. He didn't feel well.
EdinburghLivi
McMillan can play centre half, if needed. Very much bare bones in that position but hopefully the injuries clear up before the final. As Durnford says, the schedule gets slightly less hectic after the DU game. What I don't understand is why we are playing all these games bunched up now with a gap of 4 weeks currently between our 33rd game and the first game of the split. I imagine this is potentially for the Scottish Cup (and a Scotland game) but would be good to get this confirmed.

bennett
Cops are investigating reports that players from Livingston FC broke Covid-19 rules by tucking into a meal at an Aberdeen restaurant. The West Lothian side’s team bus was pictured outside the Tony Macaroni eatery in the Granite City at around 3pm on Tuesday afternoon, February 2. The players had travelled north for their Premiership clash against the Dons which saw them walk away with a 2-0 win. Under current coronavirus restrictions in Scotland, all restaurants are closed for eat-in diners in a bid to halt the bug spreading -
