Ira Gaines
ROH is a weird one. They have an excellent roster, but have made so many fucked decisions that people are turning away. Not quite TNA/Impact levels of giving up, but we're not far off.
FairWeatherFan
NJPW has the benefit of working a tour model. While everyone else in the US has the expectation of weekly TV and near enough monthly big shows. If you take their regions and do it as 5x tours that gets you to the 2020 target of doubling the number of 2019 shows. Throw in the odd standalone event like G1 Climax opening in Dallas. That would give you plenty to spread across the year. Quick look ROH are going to run around 40 events in North America. A chunk of that has been supplemented by NJPW talent. They can certainly make it work and could act a bit like their NXT. NJPW World subscribers are going to see these shows and be introduced to new people who then come over to Japan with some name value and it aids their domestic business.
Comrie
ROH has a decent roster spoiled by their booking decisions, the fact they threw all their eggs in the BC/Elite basket and Villain Club is soon to go defunct when Marty Scurll jumps ship to AEW as he is expected to do so. Watching NWA Power #3, still love the aesthetic but the wrestling isn't so hot.

Not just Marty. There's all the rumours around RUSH as well as he's only meant to have signed for a year. Looking at their official roster page they include David Finlay, Jay White, Juice Robinson, Rocky Romero, Will Ospreay and Zack Sabre Jr. All of whom, apart from maybe Rocky, are tied to NJPW contracts. In terms of ROH's own it's looking a little threadbare next big thing wise.

DA Baracus
The 'King' gimmick has been shit for many, many years. It's not the fault of the wrestlers but the fault of creative.
Sherrif John Bunnell
I would like to say I'm surprised that WWE have produced this shirt for Myles/ACH.
DA Baracus
Embarrassing attempt at face saving and insincere apology by WWE most likely incoming, followed by Myles not getting a push any time soon.

DA Baracus
Was just reading about that! Really difficult situation. WWE has a history of 'lazy' racism, which is to say whilst not outright and perhaps not even purposely racist does do some racist looking things. Little things like always teaming black guys up is one example. I think usually he'd be punted but if they do it will reflect very badly on them. If they don't then he surely won't be doing much whilst he sees out his contract. Also whoever came up with the design can't have not known how it would look. The big red lips part is unforgivable and you'd have to be a moron to not get the issue there. You could kind of get the design if it didn't have the big red lips but there was absolutely no reason to have it like that. JamieStevenson
He's going the extra mile to get himself released. Fair play to him, there's no coming back from tweeting out a corporate e-mail. Especially leaving the e-mail address there for fans to direct some hate towards the guy.

Going by his tweets, he's a coward. The guy has had several opportunities to challenge WWE on the design throughout the creation process and chose not to do so. Now that it's out in the open he finally talks and does so to get the fans to challenge on his behalf. No surprise if he's using this to his advantage to get out. There's no other end game here.... He's not going to get new merch out of it because we'll never see the guy on TV again after this. Yeah WWE are racists, everyone knows that. But if you pussyfoot around it and approve racist designs, you can hardly kick up a fuss when you did nothing about it. "When I originally saw the design I was uncomfortable. Rather than addressing the issue" tells you all you need to know.
DA Baracus
Coward seems incredibly harsh. In fact it seems downright wrong. Because it is wrong. Guys are apparently walking on eggshells all the time in WWE due to the stupid fucked up politics. He was getting a decent push and who knows what would have happened had he kicked up a fuss? Maybe nothing and they would have changed the design or maybe the higher ups would have taken it totally wrong and labelled him a troublemaker and buried him. Sounds like he didn't want to jeopardise things. Also the quote at the end of your post ends 'I countered with another design'. Really not sure why you left that part out as it clearly changes the content of the quote. It also went on to say that he was told HHH wanted the design and it couldn't be changed, which would tie in with my second paragraph.
