Really upset about Peyton, yes she was a bit green but she was constantly getting better and not to go full yer da but she also has the looks which still goes far even in this day and age. The Iconics winning the tag titles at mania was a decent ‘wrestlemania moment’.

If Joe is still able to go AEW seems very likely, although he might have soft spot to go back to TNA/Impact.

Wouldn’t surprise me if AEW brought in Mickie James for a couple of matches given she is a relatively big name.

Obviously Royce already has a connection to AEW through Spears, but don’t know if that would happen.

I genuinely think Peyton could have been a star. Constantly improving and her promo on Talking Smack (I think) was very, very good.
Mickie James to NWA?

I can only hope/assume Joe still wants to wrestle? He arrived in WWE past his prime obviously, but he’s still a fantastic asset in and out of the ring. Even his sit down interviews on NXT the other week were great. Hopefully he gets one final big run in either Japan or AEW, still juice left in the tank.

Iconics & Mickie feel like obvious pickups for AEW. Peyton going surprised me especially, there was absolutely something with her and going whilst the likes of Tamina & Alicia Fox are still on the books is mad.

To be (ever so slightly) fair to them, they've read the room and seemingly punted him as far from NXT shows as they can go.  Well, not as far.  He's still employed.  I really hope they're just not looking at all the obvious potential he used to have and hoping the heat dies down.  Letting some fairly good members of the roster go for "budget cuts" and still having Dream there is obviously not a good look.
