The Iconics winning the tag titles at mania was a decent ‘wrestlemania moment’. If Joe is still able to go AEW seems very likely, although he might have soft spot to go back to TNA/Impact. Wouldn’t surprise me if AEW brought in Mickie James for a couple of matches given she is a relatively big name. Obviously Royce already has a connection to AEW through Spears, but don’t know if that would happen. He arrived in WWE past his prime obviously, but he’s still a fantastic asset in and out of the ring. Even his sit down interviews on NXT the other week were great. Hopefully he gets one final big run in either Japan or AEW, still juice left in the tank. Iconics & Mickie feel like obvious pickups for AEW. Well, not as far. He's still employed. I really hope they're just not looking at all the obvious potential he used to have and hoping the heat dies down.
