A question for the ladies:

My girlfriends bump is now very round and she says feels tight. How long before you went into labour did you get this?

I think this baby may come early :)

Is the tightening coming and going? If so, how long apart are they?

Engaging? My bump changed shape when the baby's head engaged.

I wouldn't panic yet, die hard, my son started engaging at about 34 weeks and he was bang on time. :) If that's what it is, of course! He was (and still is) an active little sod though and would regularly be doing gymnastics in there! My bump was constantly changing shape!

That's Chloe now turned into a good wee girl, sleeping and feeding to a routine.

Thats been 9 weeks of hell and 2 weeks of joy, shame the nappies are now like Chiken Korma.

If you want your kids to behave this Christmas, tell them that wehn the motion sensor on your house alarm goes red, its actually Santa watching them, its working a treat with the wee man.

We are at the viable stage. Obviously I'd like it to wait at least another 15 weeks before appearing though. If it's like it's brother it'll be here in 12 weeks!

Aye good luck with that, hows the wee one dealing with the impending arrival ?

Cameron was torture in the last 4 weeks, then the minute his mum was out of hospital he was great.

He is now starting to help bath and dress Chloe, which is great to see.

I'm not sure how much he understands, he'll tell you the baby is in my tummy but I'm not sure he really gets it. We'll see how he reacts once it's here.

3 weeks until the due date now. Scared is now creeping up in my emotions.

And rightly so.

Being left on your own after a couple of days with a new baby to deal with is without doubt the scariest thing imagineable.

It's also at the same time the most wonderful fantastic experience you'll ever have (and tiring!).

Best of luck. :D
