Aye I'm in the same boat as you, my son also lives with his mum but he's 12 now and decides what he wants to do so he's at the game most weeks with me.

It’s difficult but we battle through. I look forward to the day when he is old enough to make his own decision. I buy him a shirt every season and he was mascot as well. I understand it will take time but I’m sure in time he will love it. IMG_0057.jpg

That's absolute class mate! My wee man was Mascot for Clyde back in 2014 when he was 7, he absolutely loved it! He also loves Borussia Mönchengladbach so usually comes to Germany twice a year with me, we're going at the end of January but he doesn't know yet.

Seems like you’re creating the memories for him just now anyway, it may not seem like much but it’s still significant, I was a mascot at Falkirk when I was 11, that was 15 years ago and I still remember it vividly.

And hopefully with that he will also grow fond of the special bond it creates between a father and a child. I take my daughter to the odd game, difficult as she has classes in a Saturday so I go to the football on an afternoon and her mum goes out for a bit at night so we both get to do something we like on Saturday. But, she’s been to hampden twice, TFS a couple times, and when ever we drove past she always says daddy is that where we watch the footballs. So even at three she still remembers the memories of it.

We've had a wee loon. I've started the indoctrination early:

Tbh, he's 70cm at 5.5 months. I keep saying he'll be a centre back for Aberdeen, and folk tell me I should have higher ambitions for him.

70cm at 5.5 months? My wee lassie was 75cm at 15 months 😂

FINALLY got a smile from the latest addition.  She's been grinning at pretty much anyone that wafts into her field of vision except me.  Not going to lie, it got a bit dusty in the room.

I can only assume she's figured out that i'm a p***k already.  It took her brother and sister a couple of years to land on that deduction.  She's managed it in 5 weeks.

They've probably been talking to her.

Wee Juliana not having the best December. Chicken pox cleared up and returned to Nursery on Monday, then after going to bed earlier than normal she woke up at 10 and was sick twice. Woke up this morning in a decent mood but minutes before we were leaving the house to go into Glasgow she threw up again. One thing after another 🙁

Can't get her to drink or eat anything now. The joys of kids 🙈

Sure it's only JDs you can buy them now 😞. The rip off merchants that they are

Picked one up in JD Sports on Buchanan St. £38 for a 3-6mth old Scotland kit. Rip off as you say but in the long term I think it's a wise investment to prepare him for disappointment from the get go.

Good news is that all going well he will fit the top perfectly when Serbia or Norway take on the best of Europe this summer...

Not the ideal letter to get on xmas eve,we have to go back to the Childrens Reporter on 8th Jan,also our daughter had the cheek to message us last night asking for a picture of the kids on xmas day.

Play the game. Hard as it is, the system will realise she’s at it. (I know it’s your daughter and don’t want to speak ill of her). From what I’ve read on here, the kids’ life and future are with you and by the 9th of January that should be confirmed.
