F*** Does your wife work? It's not even that the youngsters are at school for part of the day. It sometimes feels like we are full time grand parents, but that would be a gross exaggeration. Sorry to hear that. Perhaps your first move would be a visit to citizens advice and find out about what financial help that you are entitled to. You may even be able to possibly legally foster the kids and therefore be entitled to an allowance for that also. Obviously you would have to clear that move with the youngest ones dad but hopefully he will agree if it is in the children’s best interest.
