  1. Hi All I am researching the history of the Northern Nomads FC - an amateur team who were based in North West England and who became quite well known in the early 20th century, as the Corinthians of the North. I know they played the annual New Years Day game with Queen Park FC for several years, but I have found reference to them travelling to Inverness to play a benefit game in April 1910. Can anyone confirm if this happened, whether it was against Thistle or Citadel, the score or the teams, please? Any info would be gratefully appreciated
  2. Aside from getting Cowdenbeath again pretty happy with the draw from an ICT perspective. Suspect we'll face Hearts at Tynecastle, possibly on TV as well, and hopefully we get Cove away. Looking forward to Cove and Cowdenbeath killing each other when they play.
  3. As the whole of the Scottish football sphere is teeming with anticipation at the prospect of seeing a repeat of the famous Irn Bru Cup final this Saturday. Inverness begin to dream of dreaming of a play off spot playing our last "easy game" of the season.
  4. Hopefully we can bounce back after a somewhat disappointing performance against Rangers last Friday when Killie come calling this weekend. With Vigurs still yet to have a good game since his hat trick against Dunfermline many weeks ago, Polworth continuing to be a bit 'meh' when played wide and Doran / Mulraney impressing on Friday night in their brief cameos fingers crossed Richie lines up along these lines (depending on injuries): OFW McKay Warren Meekings Tremarco Tansey Draper Doran (or Mulraney) Polworth King Fisher Our record against Killie is actually quite good in Inverness. Only one defeat in our last fifteen so we've every reason to be confident on Saturday. Mindful of this I am saying 2 - 1 to Killie.
