  1. Champions of the bottom six is probably beyond St Johnstone now, but Motherwell must have the title firmly in their sights. The clubs battled it out in 2017-18 with Well pipping Saints by 2 points, despite Maclean scoring a hat trick in a 5-1 last day Saints victory at Fir Park. Saints bounced back to claim the title the following season, only a point above the Steelmen. Whilst we feel so close to safety, we have to take something here. If we lose then we play back to back killie and County away, with both teams having everything to play for. We really want to avoid needing to take something from our final fixture. I don’t think Kevin Van Veen’s goal on Saturday was quite as good as Guy Melamed’s at New Douglas Park 2 years ago, in the ‘trying to be Bergkamp’ stakes.
