  1. On this week’s show, the verdict is in from League Two – title races are for losers; Mo Ross has been planting something on the Central Park stock car racing track but the outcome is another Cowden loss; the Pars continue their Yogi revival and Christian Ramirez gets a rude introduction to the painful realities of Scottish football. All this and more, on this week’s edition of the Auchterarder Chippy. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-auchterarder-chippy/id1506219854?i=1000542982279
  2. Having seen the forecast for the weekend,ie clear but frosty.Unless the club can take any kind of preventative precautions this match will be in serious doubt of being on like the Aberdeen game before. If theve got any covers, the part of the pitch giving us problems should be covered to give us a chance of getting the game on.Weve been warned and still have plenty time to rectify this.Crucial game for both teams.Fingers crossed its on.
  3. With all our clubs having to release at least 5-6 players, many of whom are pretty decent - who do you think are the best out of contract players available this summer and who would you take at your club? I for one think the likes of Stephen McGinn, Stephen O'Donnell, Jonny Hayes and Vlaclav Hladky would be great additions to any non Old Firm teams but there are bound to be English teams lurking.
  4. There's a lot of talent in the lower leagues, which players do you think could make the step up from League One to the Premiership? Do you think any will with the potential for no lower league football until January?
  5. Hi everyone! We're launching Scotland's first fantasy football app this summer - Fantasy Football Scotland. There are over a quarter of a million active fantasy football users in Scotland, however most play an English version. A Scottish version of the game has not been available, until now. Fans will be able to build their squad of 15 players, make transfers, pick captains and vice captains, make substitutions, create their own custom leagues and invite their friends. The app will be available on the App Store and Google Play this summer. If you enter your email address (takes about 10 secs) in the link below we'll 1) email you when the app is available to download and 2) enter you in a draw to win a Google Pixel 3a. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP! Thanks! We're excited to get started.
  6. In the wake of the Old Firm drawing each other in that League Cup Semi-Final, manager of the national team Gordon Strachan has called for measures to be taken to ensure Rangers - and Hearts & Hibs - are back in the Premiership ASAP. Possibly even for next season. Although he hasn't gone into the detail of what that might entail, it could presumably include a temporary restructuring of the top tier... maybe a move to 14-team Premiership for 1 or 2 seasons... or the temporary introduction of extra promotion/relegation or playoff slots? It surprises me that Strachan would make these comments, given he has previously remained notably circumspect on the whole Rangers and "Armageddon" topics. Interesting to see if the SFA themselves have anything in mind. Thoughts?
