  1. Can Dundee get another win in Inverness or will this be another horrific display in the Highlands? Join us for what is sure to be a very important game in the title chase. f**k Billy Dodds.
  2. Getting in nice an early as the match thread roll continues. This will be the week we go top, with Ayr United dropping points at Patrick Thistle. f**k Jim McIntyre. Thank you.
  3. It’s a break from the Championship as we’re back into SPFL Trust Trophy action. Montrose are the visitors to Hampden and If you’re a Queen’s Park supporter, it’s been a great couple of days. Unbeaten in 4 matches, The football being played and the return to Hampden was very successful with an attendance of 3231. You’ve just got to hand it to the club for making last Saturday great. It’s a chance for either team to cement their place as real contenders for the cup and it should be a great game all round. The Mo have stumbled recently with the 5-2 defeat to Darvel in the Scottish Cup a shock and the 0-0 draw against Alloa but they’ll definitely look to cause an upset on the weekend as they haven’t lost to Queen’s since 2016 when we won 2-0 at Hampden, However we’ve got a squad who are experiencing great form so we have nothing to fear. The Lineup will be identical to the one we had at Peterhead with a couple of changes but still a strong side. Wouldn’t want to drop the likes of Murray, Savoury, Thomas and Boateng and give minutes to players who need them so I’d go with this Starting 11: Ferrie Naismith Fox Eze Robson Bannon Boateng Thomas Savoury McPake Murray Montrose will definitely make it difficult for us but when we get that 1st goal, We’ll be on are way. it’ll be another dominant display as we coast to the next Round. QPFC 3-0 MFC Great to see that Queen’s Park STHs and Members go free and tickets are only £10/5. Although we won’t be able to replicate the same numbers we got against Hamilton on the weekend, hopefully some fans will have bought into the Club and come to some more games. Safe Travels to Montrose fans coming to the Game and enjoy the rest of the week.
  4. At Last, We return to the Southside for the first time since 2021. Even though is only for a while, We’ll give a proper goodbye to Hampden before we eventually move into our new home at Lesser. Onto the Game, Queen’s Park have been grinding out results and are becoming the form team having not lost since the Friday night game at Cove. We’re also playing some good football and are good on the eye. Despite the conditions up at Peterhead, we were finally about to brake our little hodo and win convincingly 3-0. Hamilton as expected beating East Kilbride and putting their name in the hat for the 4th round with Andy Ryan getting an impressive Hat-Trick. Hamilton did also make it tough for us up at NDP but just like their season so far they weren’t able to take their chances and ultimately payed the price for it. Really excited for this as it is a game we have the most favourable tie and should realistically get all 3 points but you honestly never know with the Championship. As for the Starting lineup, would probably keep the same 11 that played against Raith. Of course there’s the case whether or not Savoury should come in as he’s had great cameos of the bench and got his goal against his former club. But with momentum with us it’s best we go with the same 11: Ferrie Davidson Fox Kilday Robson Thomson Boateng Thomas Jarrett McPake Murray Looking Forward for this one. Hope as many people come through the Turnstiles whether you’re a Queens Park fan, a Hamilton fan, someone who likes football or even someone local to watch the game on Saturday as we look to keep our wining streak going. Safe travels to everyone who will make the trip to Hampden. QPFC 2-1 HFC
  5. Right then, the magic of the cup and all that. We're chugging along fine enough at home in the league and have a decent wee streak going, while Airdrie have a little unbeaten streak of their own. Their record away from home this season leaves plenty to be desired though, with their away win over lowly Clyde a fortnight ago being their first since July. Still, not an opponent to sniff at and our players will need to be up for it. Hopefully it goes similarly to the Falkirk game, where they played well but once the storm was weathered it was simple stuff from there. As always though, any win will do.
  6. Ehm on a roll with match threads. So here's another. This is exactly the type of game we drop points at. That being said we have been pretty good going forward lately. Can Hamilton kick start their season with a result here? Can't wait for the ticket discussion. Light the bin fire troops....
  7. This has the writing to be one of the most important match this season so far for both teams who are only separated by 2 points. Plus if results do go their way, either Raith or Queens could climb up to 3rd or even 2nd. I’ve been really impressed by Rovers recent form after the start they had but they were stopped in their tracks by Dundee. Despite that they haven’t lost a home game since September and have the 2nd best defence in the league only behind Morton so this could be quite the struggle. Queens meanwhile bounced back after the defeat against Cove with a win at ‘Home’ to Inverness and in Style as not only did we keep Inverness at bay for most of the game but we also played the best football I’ve seen this season. The game at Ochilview was very close with both teams having chances and even though Queen’s Park got the 3 points, Raith did hit the post and had 2 shots cleared of the line so the game at Stark’s Park could be a classic to watch. Honestly I don’t think there’s much Coyle can do with the 11 after the win. Fox played brilliantly on Saturday and has shaken off his injury so he’ll keep his place as does Kilday. Maybe there’s the question whether or not Savoury comes into the Team after he did well coming off the bench against Inverness but I’d probably Stick with the same Team as Saturday: Ferrie Davidson Kilday Fox Robson Boateng Thomson Thomas Jarrett McPake Murray As for the Game, you know what, this is bold but I’m thinking there will be a lot of goals in this one. It’ll be one of those game where either team won’t be great defensively on the day. It’ll be end to end with both teams going for it but in the end, I think Queen’s will win it just in a 7 goal thriller(Its gonna end up in a nil nil draw now ) RRFC 3-4 QPFC Haven’t been to Stark’s Park before so I’ll be able to tick off another Scottish Stadium of my list and hopefully both teams come to the game in their numbers. Have a good week and enjoy the game Everyone.
