  1. If, if, the teams from pot 2 go into the groups as A2, B2 etc then you could gamble that way, but I'm not even sure that's how it works.
  2. I've picked a game a day from the North Rhine-Westphalia cities and parked myself there for the tourny.
  3. Can't believe this topic starter only got 55 downvotes.
  4. Sure, but if we beat Georgia so will we. Then we've got Norway for a 1 or 3 point bonus. I think (?) if we win our last two, there's no team that could beat us to the last pot2 berth.
  5. Tonight was a good demonstration to myself that we should leave fitba to the experts. It maybe didn't count, but I was saying before he launched the ball into the top corner... "what the fcuk is a 6'4" guy taking the freekick for?"
  6. Don't disagree generally, but, it leaves us playing in a shit stadium that's going to remain shit. Coming from Dundee, I couldn't give two hoots if the national stadium was in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
  7. They stopped using it (as far as I'm aware) because they were getting crap crowds so went with a smaller venue.
  8. So it's unsalvageable then? Knock the fcuker down - along with Murrayfield and build a stadium for both sports ala the Millennium. Haha. I know, silly idea!
  9. Isn't this what they did with the Etihad - you'd never know that it once had an athletics track there.
  10. Pay for it but never watch it. Just come across this though which is a bit more entertaining than the club's content...
  11. I've got zero points so have banged in requests for a game a day across the group stages in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. Will cost me nearly £2k if I get them all, but I doubt that. 2 or 3 if I'm lucky. Hotel booked for Munster - cheap enough cos nobody else will be going there
  12. I think that would be the default against lesser teams - we'll probably line-up 541 against Spain, so sub out Christie for another CB.
  13. It'll never match his previous nomination...
  14. I'm actually relieved to see this.
  15. The madness of supporting United in this era - talented youngsters are getting swooped for before I've even recognised that they exist.
  16. He is 27. You need a lesson how numbers work?
  17. Well 27. And we have different outlooks on age I guess.
  18. Of course he has. Hail King Clarke. I'm just saying call the kid up, once, just once, see what he looks like in camp. I honestly don't see what the harm in it is. It's often players that just get a single chance that surprise you - who honestly would have predicted (a year ago) before he was called up that Porteous (for example) would now be a nailed-on starter?
