Here's an interesting comparison for you...... Darlington FC recently failed to meet a CVA, and did the newco thing Rangers have attempted. The FA recommended that the new club be relegated by 4 divisions, they have been stripped of their history and are no longer allowed to be named Darlington FC, so they are voting on a new name! Last season they played in a modern 25,000 seat stadium - they ain't going to need that to play in the Northern League so are moving elsewhere, outside Darlington.

I think there's a link to it from the youtube page with the playoff vid. It was Les Mottram the referee, and Paddy Connolly that 'scored' the goal. Obviously the playoff was awesome for United and devastating for Thistle, but that is the beauty of them. Tannadice was sold out and Firhill was packed as well.

United had only sold 1700 tickets upto yesterday. The ticket office has been packed today and sold hundreds more. All we wanted was for our chairman to show some leadership and say NO. If, in the very unlikely looking event now, that they do get voted into the SPL, well, I won't be back, but my club will have my money, and they deserve it now. ps - Playoffs! I have watched United win the league, beat some of the best teams in Europe, win the cup at the 7th attempt, but without doubt the most thrilling moment ever was Brian Welsh heading past Nicky Walker in our play-off win back in 96!

Check out all the secret United fans coming out of the woodwork I've always been proud of being a United fan, from winning the inaugural FIFA Fair Play Award that night versus Gothenburg, through following my team throughout Europe - it was always delightful to see the surprise on foreigners faces at just how nice we were - they always expected British hooligan fans. I took a couple of English fans to watch United v Barcelona in a friendly at Tannadice a few years back. We took the lead, but then they brought Messi on and he destroyed us. The English fans couldn't understand why all the United fans were standing up and applauding when Messi scored - you can't be partisan with football like that!! Proud To Be An Arab (P2BAA) is a catchphrase of ours, but we deserve to use it tonight!

Kenny Cameron's letter looked more of a YES to me to be honest. He'll be looking to punish newco of course and get as much benefit for ICT as he can, but he can claim sanctions were the punishment his fans craved! ps - Dundee United fan's forums and social media has pretty much broken into civil war between the fans holding out on season tickets and the 'true supporters'. The sooner Stephen Thompson comes out and says NO, the better for everyone!

So how do we stand? We need 5 NO votes, and as things stand we have.......... Motherwell NO (almost certain if its a fan vote) Hibernian NO (Petrie places integrity over money) Hearts NO (wahey Mad Vlad) Dundee United NO (the pressure from the fans will be too much) Aberdeen possible NO (as above) Celtic possible NO (every commentator says so, but they have the most to lose) St Mirren unknown (about to hand over the reigns to the fans) Ross County unknown (very quiet on the issue) Inverness unknown (as above) St Johnstone unknown (as above) Rangers Oldco YES (obviously) Kilmarnock YES (chairman is a clown)
