  1. Europe/Additional money aside, the top 6 also invites the possibility of a Skippy Sunday scenario.
  2. There was a point a while ago where there was at least an acknowledgement of it (The Blue Book?) And Billy Boys was all but eradicated (at Ibrox anyway). Definite resurgence in the past few years, possibly down to the scrapping of the OB@F act?
  3. Loads of whataboutery going about on Twitter etc. There is a huge common denominator - You don't see much trouble unless certain clubs are involved. Thousands indulging in sectarianism etc every single week, no matter who they're playing.
  4. I like that strip and have it framed, pride of place in th man cave, along with (so far) Memorabilia from our fist game in Europe and also a Motherwell rug on the floor.
  5. Brown was in absolutely no position to get away with the hard man act etc in European games though. You saw a slight shift in how he was treated when he moved to Aberdeen as well.
  6. McAusland is half-heartedly contesting a ball he has no prospect of winning.
  7. Its a downright lie to say Casey goes in late (as Sue Smith does). Yes Casey is robust, but clearly wins the ball well ahead. Its McAusland who is late into the tackle and leaves his leg in.
  8. Pretty arrogant and entitled of Thompson to expect us not to celebrate. Hilarity was always going to ensue. I couldn't make the game, but ended up watching it in (I think) the bar at Rugby Park with a mate who was a Rangers fan and a mate who was a Celtic fan. Obvious scenes when we scored the late goals and my (Celtic supporting) mate looked like he was either going burst out crying or swing a punch at me
  9. Depends who's playing. There was a 5 min, detailed check on a routine yellow card at Fir Park on Sun. As noted elsewhere in the thread, the idea of "Clear and obvious" has been ditched - Subjective reviews are a case in point. If the review is ambiguous to the level that its down to a referee's specific interpretation of an incident, then it's surely not an obvious error.
  10. Ideally the WS keep majority shareholding, but the way the question was framed, yes I would consider proposals, depending on what they offered.
  11. As you say, that's what he's trying to do, but if there's one club in World football that doesn't need to cultivate a victim/seige complex its Celtic.
  12. Before Butcher puts his hands on the Aberdeen defender there is clear shirt-pulling on Mugabe, so should have been a pen had VAR reviewed a few frames back. Penalising shirt-pulls was all the rage for about a week, then started to get ignored again.
  13. Yeah, for Miovski's chopped off goal Tosh was saying it was inconclusive and should have been a goal. The on field decision was offside, so if VAR was deemed inconclusive the onfield decision would stand anyway. He was horrific to listen to.
  14. We fell into the Shitfest trap last night big time. Was all about patience and keeping the ball, drawing them out and playing through them, or getting the WBs to the by line. Going long/high to Bair rendered us completely ineffectual and we were just ceding pissesion back to them. The secong goal Butcher needs to engage.
  15. Aye, this was my frustration. All Kelly needs to do is forecefully come out to claim/punch the ball. If anyone is in his path and there's contact, the vast majority if the time the striker will get penalised. If he comes through the Paton/Oakley with conviction last night he'd likely have got a free kick.
  16. 100%. Was about to post this. Surprised Halliday didn't start. Miller is obv quality, but was always going to get bullied today. Type of game that would have suited Halliday.
  17. Pretty poor stuff from us. Don't know what they think going high/long is going to achieve. Plays right into Morton's hands Need to get it down and start playing and get a bit of composure about us.
  18. Same question from me except for match programmes?
  19. He's absolutely nowhere near the ball either
