  1. Well that is something the whole world already knows. We have been playing against his teams for a long time and he's blethered a fair amount of pish over the years.
  2. East Fife Supporters Society is the proper name of the Supporters Trust so you should be a member. According to Companies House EFSS already hold 6234 shares in EF and are the 3rd largest single shareholder. Rankine/Twigg (Bayview Fife Ltd) as the majority shareholder hold over 102k shares.
  3. That actual facts don't seem to matter to the mentalists who regularly post on the EF Facebook page, whether that be the 'happy clappers' or the 'we are doomed' brigade'.
  4. I think it is because I made the decision to fund my season ticket by not going to away games.
  5. I am glad to see we are reducing the average age of our first team squad by replacing a 19 year old with a 17 year old.
  6. I have to admit this is starting to annoy the f**k out of me. If we are struggling to sign decent replacements for the players that everyone kept saying they wanted binned then surely those who claim to be in the know will have some idea as to why this is happening. Also on a similar point, the in the know people keep saying that Jude Law is leaving, but if he is why isn't he already away, and why the f**k is he playing for us in our pre season games. Surely if he is leaving then playing him in these games could be jepordising his 'big money' move.
  7. I really hope that the Board are not relying solely on season ticket sales to fund the player budget as my concern is that this will end up with the Board/owner pushing responsibility back onto supporters by saying we have the quality of players that the supporters/local area are willing to pay for, and if that is a lowland league standard then so be it.
  8. In life 'choice' is sometimes only a option for those who have the money to be able to choose.
  9. In this case we did HAVE to release Wallace because his refusal to honour the contract forced us to. If we was injured the club would not have had the same option. We rewarded a senior player with a two year deal and when it did not suit him he worked his ticket until the club had no option. For what its worth I would have released him at the start of last season when he was clearly unhappy with how things were going at EF.
  10. I agree. Hence my arguement that giving 2 year deals to players who are not good enough to command a transfer fee is a complete waste of time and money, but it does ruin it for other players who would be willing to honour 2 year deals in return for the additional security it offers. I guess it up to clubs to judge the character (honesty) of individual players when negotiating contracts.
  11. Wallace has done well to get another 2 year deal. If he doesn't fancy it at Dumbarton he can down tools again until he gets a move to a Darvel etc, and if he gets injured he can continue picking up a wage.
  12. Depending on how you look at it I can't help feeling that our Board are being too nice or too weak, and other clubs are taking advantage. Normally I do wish players well when they move on but stuff like this makes you hate how greedy and selfish football can be even at our level.
  13. This sorry mess confirms that football clubs at our level should not be giving out 2 year contracts. Unfortunately players are happy to sign the contract with the security provided if injured, but if they see the chance to get more money elsewhere we can't afford to freeze them out of football for 18 months if there attitude is poor. The approach taken by EF and Young to reward our more senior players with longer contracts fucked things up for us when Agnew was released from his contract while Wallace was told to stay. I have no inside knowledge but I pretty sure this is why Wallace threw his toys out the pram. This was made worse by others like Swanson, Smith and Davidson being injured for all or most of last season, and this effectively led to Young being sacked and EF being relegated. Given this situation there was no way Wallace was going to play league 2 football with EF this season. Our only hope now is that Crawford can use the wages for Wallace, Swanson etc to bring in the players we need to fix the problems with our attack that were so evident last season.
  14. Why are you including Davidson in this? He has been injured, or carrying a injury all season and I think he was one of the players we needed fit and playing if we were to have any chance of staying up this season. For the record the others players that I think we really needed 30+ games from were Wallace, Murdoch and Swanson.
  15. I don' t understand why the restrictions that are being applied at Bayview would not be the same at Dumbarton. Due to red zones and social distancing the capacity at Bayview has been reduced to 320. On Saturday we could only accomodate season ticket holders who confirmed that they wanted to attend and handful of QP fans.
  16. I don't think we should be thinging about moving on Agnew or trying to replace him. I am sure he would be the first to admit that he has been a bit off the pace this season, but we shouldn't forgot how good he was for us the previous season. I would not be judging anyone on this season and I think we should be looking for him to get back to the level we know he can play at once we get back to a more normal routine. None of us know what has been going on with players in their own lives away from football over the past 12 months, and I think we should be giving part-time players the benefit of the doubt if they weren't quite at it this season. DY will be best placed to make these decisions, and I am happy to back his judgement on this as I think during his time at EF, player recruitment has been one of his strongest areas.
  17. I'm pretty sure he said what I thought he did, but fair play to him either way. From the highlights it looks like Stranraer were trying to hit Kelty on the break, but when you started taking the game to them you looked good. Also good to see Keiran Miller, always rated him and was disappointed when he left East Fife for Airdrie.
  18. Does the co-commentator say 'that's shite' at 1.05
  19. Thanks for sharing this great angle of the goal from the home end. Is this EFTV footage? Are other cameras being used to provide different angles for the edited highlights?
  20. You never know Mark Kerr could be the manager that actually leads Ayr United to their first major honour. Then again maybe not.
  21. I had a similar issue at the friendly against Dundee Utd. After 3 or 4 minutes waiting at reception I went upstairs and a volunteer allowed me to enter the stand from the bar/hospitality area. For match days a video door bell linked to a smart phone may be the answer rather than expecting someone to man reception reception for the full game. https://www.expertreviews.co.uk/home/1407418/best-video-doorbell
