  1. My apologies. I think the way you structured your sentence deceived me.
  2. Hamilton, Cove and QotS are full time mate.
  3. I have it from a very reliable source that Nesbitt was indeed offered a one year deal with an option, which he refused, but didn't want to say as I'd been drinking sherry.
  4. Most teams tend to sit in against us and try to be difficult to break down. I was surprised therefore to see you set up with such a high line and shocked that you continued it throughout given that Morrison and Miller were consistently given half of the field to run in to. The scoreline could have been so much more when you consider the number of chances that tactic gave us.
  5. I think the squad's likely to be a bit bigger next year therefore I believe that McGlynn may well still be looking to add someone to challenge Nesbitt. I would imagine that Oliver's ability to cover different positions was uppermost in McGlynn's mind when the extension was offered.
  6. The guy is most definitely better than L1 standard. Absolutely no doubt!
  7. Two platforms, bridge, waiting room, shelter, car park, road, paths, toilets, ticket machine...
  8. Aye we should go for it. Probably only cost a few million?
  9. You're right, he is a flair player but he can have a big influence in games when he's in the mood. It would have made sense to keep him for the Hamilton game because he would definitely have been in the mood for that one!
  10. I think he thought he had less time than he had. He could actually have let it drop to the ground to tap it in.
  11. He's lucky he didn't get Sheriff Denny, he's much tougher!
  12. Reminds me of the female sports journalist who, when interviewing Dumbarton striker Paddy Flannery, accidentally called him Fanny Paddery!
  13. That was me. I was replying to a poster who said that you were top of the league after losing your eleventh game of the season. To me, that read like you'd lost 11 games, not that you'd won most of the first 10 then lost the eleventh.
  14. Aye, as long as you don't have the cheek to sit on your arse or watch the telly or anything like that!!
  15. They certainly seem to have a lack of awareness when it comes to suggesting their level. They've been punching above their weight for many years and should probably be a lower level L1 club when taking their fan base etc into account. However, they have every right to be in the top division if their performance on the park justifies it. It's hardly their fault if the likes of ourselves, Dunfermline, Dundee Utd and Partick can't get their shit together to be able to replace them.
  16. Apologies, getting mixed up between the two of them.
  17. I was having a wee look at Transfermarket to see who's out of contract in the Championship at the end of the season and came up with the following names that will be familiar: From Raith, there's Sam Stanton, Dylan Easton and Ethan Ross. ICT, Wallace Duffy, who's a RB. From Partick, Jamie Sneddon (G.K.), Jack McMillan (R.B.), Kerr McInroy, Aidan Fitzpatrick and Toni Adeloye who was the Ayr striker that scored two against us in the cup last season. From Q.P. there's goalie Callum Ferrie who was with us for a short time. Morton striker George Oakley, from Airdrie, G.K. Josh Rae, R.B. Cammy Ballantyne and striker Calum Gallagher. From L1 Hamilton there's goalie Ryan Fulton and C.B. Fergus Owens. Who, if any, do you think would be worth talking too? We'll need a 'keeper and Rae and Fulton are well quoted by their current club's fans. I think we'll need a R.B. as it looks like Finn may be away. Duffy, McMillan and Ballantyne may fit? I also think that Oakley would suit McGlynn's system and is probably more of a goal scorer than MacIvor.
