When I think of some of the CH's we've had eg, Flynn, Milne who've made some real howlers, he's really not that bad. He's quite consistent actually. We've had some others like Ireland and Khalis who were just bad all the time.

Sibbald isn't a wide player. He's forced to play in that position because he's left footed and we don't have any one better. Possibly the very reason that Hippolyte was brought in is to allow us to move Sibbald central?

Based on what I've seen I wouldn't say he's any better than Alex Cooper and I don't think anyone can question Cooper's on-field attitude? Considering that it was Houstie that signed him I think there must have been some sort of falling out between the two yet I haven't read any rumours of reasons for this.

Best attacking full back in my time has been Stuart Kennedy, no doubt about it. I'm too young to have seen Alex Parker though.

I don't think we were ever linked to Billy Mehmet, I think that the same mistake was made at the time.

Remember at Livingston that wee back heeled flick to Duffie who crossed for mad Phil to get his hat trick? Edit to say that I'd be really unhappy if he moves. I think he's a cracking player although he has lost his way a bit, particularly last season. Coming back to nearer his best form again now though and If I was Houstie I'd be offering him a pay rise!

Aye but what happens if Leahy leaves in this window? We'd be left with a 17 year old left back with no back up. I'm not suggesting that we recall him for the sake of it as getting games at Stranraer will obviously help him but if Leahy leaves we have only young Gallagher available for cup matches (if we get any further obviously).

Aye, but he's only 17. Last thing we want to do is to force the laddie to play because we've no options. Look at how Houston's managed O'Hara so far. It would be easy and very tempting to play him for all of the game in every game but he's got the good sense not to do that.

Daft decision to let Liam Dick play for Stranraer yesterday given the Leahy situation.

I admit that I only saw him a couple of times as I don't watch the under 20s however I thought he looked quite competent when I did see him. What's happened to Liam Dick? Haven't heard anything about him for ages.
