Notice you guys have been splashin' the cash recently in terms of new acquisitions. I'm guessing 'the man from Kelty' came with deep pockets?

Well good luck and all that but todays news regarding Partick's predicament should perhaps be borne in mind...not just by your club  ...by all of us!

Our chairman and vice chairman aren't short of a few bob either.

If all goes well, it should be the safest the Rovers have been for decades, if not all time.

Andy Barrowman and Davie Handcock are sound as f**k 🤝

At the severe risk of sounding like the chairman of the Davie Hancock fanclub, he's easily one of the soundest folk involved at the Rovers.

Just a straight down the middle good guy.

Andy Barrowman's enthusiasm for what is to come is infectious as well.

    Good times.

The dick extension is a good bit of business btw.  Surely most on here will like Dick at the back?  Its semen to me like there's only a few snowflakes.

I firmly believe that with Dick, the only way is up.  He is a fine upstanding guy.    Hopefully he'll stop the cock ups at set pieces.

(The Karens just had an anuarism).

Millions of tweets = getting the club name in the limelight, and that can only be a good thing for future advertising etc.  Good on Ruaridh.  Keep it up.  fnar fnar.

    Ruaridh after reading that.

It's not an exclusive approach. It's a single tweet, currently sitting at 5m+ views and overwhelmingly positive comments.

You and a few others took offence. There's a difference.

    We can move on.

I didn't take offence initially, more that I didn't think it appropriate.

I reacted before considering it to be honest. I'll put that down to 04:30am alarms making me grumpier than normal.

Love it or hate it, Ruaridh has put great attention on the club which can only act as a bargaining chip when trying to bring new advertisers on board.

No I'm OK  I was only passing on what seemed a credible development given the details

After some of the words o wisdom on here about formations and player signings etc there can't be much eggs left in kdy

As for Jimmy Nic along with  Mcglyn the pair maybe won a cup but left the club with plenty debt

Glad I've amused you tho no hard feelings

Can you get your source to tell us that we won't win the league next season and we won't sign a 30 goal per season striker?

Surprised Bobby Barr hasn’t been mentioned yet.

from a personal experience - Sean Kilgallon is an utter w**k.  freezing midweek and was a ballboy for us at home to Partick - can’t be far off 20 year ago now.  Ball got rattled out the park about 100 mile an hour - which I proceeded to trap, control and knock it back to him which come up a yard or two short. c**t went bonkers at me - to the point Paul McManus had to step in and tell him to shut his puss and get to f**k.

    Kilgannon?

Worst player I've seen in a Rovers strip including Anelka's lot.

Defensively, good as you’re gonna get. It’s how pathetic he is going forward. Can’t pass more than ten yards, can’t cross.

Millen was murder at the beginning of the season but has actually turned into one of our most consistent players this season.

More than happy to have him.

Learnt about getting a wee break from Davo?

    First thing I thought.

    Season is done. Break time.

Had also heard rumblings that Sim wants to still be on the board. That’s a recipe for disaster. Best for all if it’s a clean break and a fresh start.

Heard he is also going to retain stadium ownership. Another potential for disaster. If people fear him screwing over the club now, once he’s an absentee landlord sitting in Thailand far from public opinion and no longer caring then that risks goes up massively.

I'm not sure what the rental agreement is but if it isn't too binding, the club would be well within their rights to ground share elsewhere.

I'm sure John Sim would want to maximise the potential on his asset so I don't think there would be any difficulties there.

I could also be way off the mark. Who knows?

High risk for High reward sounds like a disaster waiting to happen :)

Weighing things up, I'm all for it.

We should be safe from the relegation fight with 10 games to go so I hope we push the boat out a wee bit further with regards to turning draws into wins.
