  1. I'm not sure what style he had Brechin playing, more just expressing the type of football I hope to see next season.Every supporter wants to see fast, precise, attacking football I suppose. Hopefully McKinnon delivers it at Starks and beyond.
  2. I have a good feeling about Mckinnon being appointed. Hope he gets us playing quick attacking football.
  3. I can't believe that McKinnon is being considerate about the path his life will take instead of just doing what we want straight away. Where does this mans priorities lie?
  4. Nothing against Burchill at all but that would be a seriously underwhelming appointment in my opinion. I'd back him like f**k if it happened but I was hoping for a more exciting appointment that would hype up interest among the more disillusioned supporters.
  5. Excellent player, his touch and the space and time it bought him was sublime, but he wouldn't be my first choice to become our new gaffer.
  6. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_European_national_football_team_managers I'd take Hiddink.
  7. Were you not asking McBookie about Sinclair yesterday?I thought you were red top baiting with that at the time and had a wee chuckle when Raithie said it'd been in The Sun. Might have a wee shot of red top baiting myself...
  8. Don't see the point in getting rid of Laurie just for the sake of it when he'll still be able to make a big contribution around the club.Agree about the Junior manager point though. I'd rather see someone who has vast experience of the senior game be that playing or management.
  9. You could look at the pros and cons of Bert's time at the Rovers all day long but it doesn't detract from the fact that people simply weren't enjoying going to watch the Rovers.I'm resigned to a lifetime of watching the club rarely win anything but I'd like a bit of good football with my disappointment. As posted above, I'm pretty sure that no RRFC supporter has any serious grudge against Murray and I know that I'll look back to the Ramsdens final success when I'm about deid with fondness but the simple facts are folk were becoming disinterested in watching the product he was putting on the park.
  10. Probably the best save I've ever seen too. Though his triple save against Ayr is by far my favourite McGurn moment. The Rovers can't afford Iker Casillas.Even entertaining the ludicrous thought of Casillas coming to the Rovers, I'm not sure I'd put him in before Dave 'Wondersave' McGurn.
  11. Couldn't wear my favourite Ralph Lauren shirt to work this morning because the collar was still a bit wet from washing it last night. Don't feel too sorry for me though. I can wear it tomorrow. Phew!
  12. You support the team to the extent that you were considering a refund on your season ticket because you were presumably not going to go along to support the team.Makes sense.
  13. Malpas will surely handle any player contracts now that Murray has gone. It'd be nice to see the club thinking outside of the box for our next appointment. Get some foreign guy in, enticed by the notion that if he makes a good impression here, he can work himself sideyways towards ridiculous wages at The Rangers.
  14. 1) Sorry to disappoint you but you WERE generalising and it's nowhere near fact regardless of what a few disgruntled supporters would have you believe.2) Where was I stating the positives in another gubbing? I'm as pissed off as the rest of us about conceding four goals yet again. Stop making stuff up. 3) All season? Yet again, more slavers. 4) Explain how the BOD treat the fans with contempt? 5) Not lies as such. Just ridiculous exaggeration.
  15. The main point I was making is that to generalise the whole club as a shambles is absolutely ridiculous.Statements like that pish all over the hard work that goes in to the club.
  16. The club is a shambles?Turning profit and comfortably finishing mid-table equals shambolic does it? Certain small aspects of the club might not be as perfect as they could be but to describe the club as a whole as shambolic is booting the arse right out of being dramatic, even by your standards.
  17. It should be as simple as:- McGurn wants to stay = Offer him a contract. He's our talisman, the best 'keeper a couple of generations of Raith Rovers supporters have seen, arguably the best 'keeper we've ever had so why the pissing about with offering him something and getting him tied down?
  18. I presume you've bought your season ticket for next season already? If you were against watching the club with Murray in charge why did you buy a season ticket when he was in charge with no indication that he will be gone for next season?
  19. I used to have recurring dreams about being on a crashing plane. The planes always have difficulty taking off and usually crash into corn fields.
  20. 'Unknown' signings are great as you're rooting for them to come good and, strangely, there's a greater deal of satisfaction seeing them do well. Thinking about Didier Agathe here.
  21. I'm heading down to clean up the 200 Club tomorrow so will hang one then.
  22. I doubt he's capable of feeling shame.Probably should have anyway though.
  23. I had to delete comments from a Rangers supporter on the 200 Club FB page last night. Something along the lines of Turnbull stiffing Rangers every chance he got. You'd think folk would refrain from comments like that but those c***s just can't help themselves.
  24. I spoke to Turnbull Hutton a few times during the Rangers malarkey and he gave me the impression that he appreciated the support he was getting for his stance but he also seemed a bit surprised by it all as he was just doing what was right. I hope his family take a lot of comfort from the very high regard he is held in by the vast majority of Scottish football.
