  1. Davo was brilliant at the back last season but I think some of his best games in a Rovers shirt have been sitting in front of the defence breaking up opposition attacks. Glad that we competed today. Keeps some of the ridiculous over-reactions at bay.
  2. It's giving willing people the chance to get further involved with their club. The Raith forum members are volunteers and have handed over money that has kept the club alive in the past. That's one example. Plenty of other volunteers around who keep the club ticking over with the unpaid work they are willing to do for the love of the Rovers. 13 years I've volunteered now and the sense of satisfaction seeing something I've been involved in improving the Rovers one way or another is hard to beat.
  3. The result was so bad that even Arbroath supporters are getting it up us.
  4. Folk really kicking the arse out of how bad McHattie is. He's nae world beater but he's nowhere near as bad as some are making out.
  5. The tarmac looking surface is spongy to walk on. I presume that's the shock pad you're talking about?
  6. We're 1:30 in. Love the picnic tables in that video. Wee crate of beer, disposable barbecue and a bonus hole for a parasol to shield me from the dazzling fitba.
  7. I thought we didn't fancy Flanagan? Now we're back fucked because he doesn't like the offer we gave him? McHattie, aye. He's had his chance.
  8. Started last season well until he got injured. Looked totally bereft of confidence when he came back in but I reckon there's a 'keeper in there.
  9. He can't just sign for us then go for nowt surely! Not expecting a massive fee but their has to be something. We'll get one of our players to write you a thank you email. Probably Lewis Milne.
  10. Lennox started the season well to be fair. But aye, the longer some players are out, the better they become.
  11. Nah, I don't think I am. We can get out of this league without Goodwillie.
  12. No doubt he's good enough but it's a PR shitstorm that the club could do without.
  13. That's a good post but can you kindly toe the party line in the future? Some examples to include in your posts... "Rumoured signings are shite." "We might struggle to finish in the playoffs." "Been as well going part-time." "We need to sign 5 more players!" "I'm being a bed wetter and will feel a bit silly when we sign players capable of getting us up."
  14. We should go part time and get Val Mcdermid to employ players as proof readers.
  15. Rovers supporters, eh! "When are we signing players? It's all too quiet!" *Good signing announced* "We don't have anyone good to play around him!" Not happy unless they're moaning.
  16. There wasn't much (if any) hounding required. Sim will need time but I reckon he'll get us up and re-establish us as a Championship club again.
  17. Remember last pre-season when nobody knew who Euan Murray was? Turned out no' bad. Some Rovers supporters need to get out of the habit of being permanently negative about the club. Aye, they make mistakes on and off the pitch and sometimes it feels like amateur hour, but underneath all of that we have a great wee club when things start to click together. We're not in a great position just now league wise or financially but this is the bad that we take with the good.
  18. Aye! I want a 'No' voting, orphanage burning, zimmer stealing p***k in the middle of the park to break up attacks and generally give players the fear. Couple him up with another guy with a bit of composure and we're going up.
  19. I don't want M'Voto back. Gives me the fear. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S10 beta using Pie and Bovril mobile app
  20. I'll never forget the nick of him swanning around Jackie O's with a white 3 piece suit on like he thought he was going to a Monte Carlo casino.
