  1. The pressure the old firm exerts on the whole institution of Scottish football is corrupt to the core and I would be delighted to see them ply their trade in Wales / England
  2. Just back in from the game. 1. Was great to see so many Ayr fans in the one section and loads of families with youngsters - hopefully getting the bug and making fans for life. 2. The orcs weren’t too bad thankfully. The Ayrshire Loyal and Ayr Loyal flags they held up got laughed off so much they took them down. 3. So glad we got Brown in, looks like he will get a tune out of this squad for the rest of the season. Will be happy if we get his full contract out of him and more. 4. Big Sean 5. All I wanted was to avoid getting humped and to make the 1,750 Ayr fans there proud going home and looking forward to the next game.
  3. I hope we can get the whole away support getting involved in some songs - make sure we are heard over the orcs
  4. Just put your hood up while listening to some Tina Turner and a splash of the sash, then by reposte, belt out some “Flower of Scotland” and “we support our local team”- pretty standard tbh
  5. Broonie obviously sees something in some and nothing in others. He maybe looks at McKenzie and Bryden and feels he can do something with them. Rose, obviously not. He managed to get more of a tune out of Paddy on Saturday after only 1 week. I’m optimistic and I’m looking forward to what the coaching will do to change this team up, and that’s before any new additions. The dice have been rolled and time will tell. Strap yourself in and enjoy - life’s too short.
  6. Was thinking that myself. It’s too important for Brown to get the first few through the door right, and be able to work to his philosophy and style.
  7. When you take out all of the false answers, what is left, however impossible, must be true
  8. When you say back, did anyone actually touch him? Was he real? Was he just a manifestation of all of our hopes and dreams?
  9. I’m guessing we have irons in the fires and players identified, but as we all know, we won’t be breaking the bank on wages, so we will just need to wait a bit longer. It would have been nice to have kept the momentum and feel good vibes going with another couple of players in by now, but here we are. I’m still hoping we pull off a couple of more than decent signings.
  10. “Ayr United sign 52 year old bus driver Jock Smith from Liddel’s Coaches on a 1 year rolling contract” ”Graeme Mathie said, I’m delighted to give the fans what they really want and we are pleased to say that Jock will be up to speed in time for us to hire a bus for the cup game at Ibrox a week on Saturday”
