Not sure what game you were at today. There was an unfortunate incident when a Lithgae player collided with a wall after being shoulder charged quite fairly (no foul given). The issue was more he was travelling at full speed and the wall was only about 4 feet from the touch line. Apart from that it was much of a muchness. Hope the lad is okay as it did look a nasty one.
Broxburn were desperately disappointing and tbh, Lithgae could have won more convincingly. Even when they were a man short they were still the better team.
Mate I was literally 2 yards from this incident the ball was gone it was out of play from a long ball, the Rose player was off the park and the Broxburn player "barged" him into the wall. It was as deliberate as it gets, now he maybe didn't mean for the Rose player to smack his head off that wall but the intent was clear. A complete heads gone lack of discipline after losing the 4th goal.

I do know he didn't I was there whatever you think mate as I said two of your most senior committee members agreed its time yous let it go.
I saw someone put there hands on johnny I don't know who because their was a pile of bodies I was there I know what happened. Quite happy to meet you in person and discuss it calmly but none of yous ever do.
I rarely get involved in all this nonsense on here nowadays but feel compelled to comment. Alan as you know I was stood right beside
you at full time. The actions of TS were out of order and inflammatory and I reacted and told him so and where he could go. Johnny was incensed that he had been told his team were anti football and was on the warpath. Some of your committee tried to calm him down but he stormed into the Rose dressing room area via the door where the announcer sits. Some of your committee shouted to TS and others to get him out of there. the answer was leave him he is fine. He was escorted out and JD came out to speak to him. Johnny after a few seconds discussion got right up in JD;s face and had to be restrained by both our committee and yours this led to a scuffle and Herdy told him to leave now which he would not do and there was some pushing and shoving...The only instigator in all this was JH, He was clearly upset and losing and being told his team was anti football.... I think you can see
from the several comments on here it was not just John Millar who thought that...
Had a bit of respect for JH good player in his day... but he let HIMSELF down yesterday... He is in a tough situation down at the bottom1 -

Utterly honking, the board need to take a long hard look at themselves. As do those so called supporters who we were shouting for Herdy to be the manager. Hang your heads, you have short memories.
Your a f@cking idiot.

Despite a 4-1 win last night I thought the referee was terrible and actually lost the plot near the end. The demeaning manor in how he spoke to players and officials led to more dissent. Another off the conveyor belt on the road to the top.

do you realy believe that was aimed at any individual ?
Is that not pretty obvious.
The inference that my skills and art
Are of the past is enough.
The club needs a programme for the
Preston cup tie. Lets see him fill that
With video clips. (Guess who is going to be
Giving up their nights to produce that by the way)
Almost constant negativity about some aspect of the club or team.
Last year I forked out of my own pocket for
A camcorder And enlisted David to video games only to Get (too much wind noise). (Aye but these are not as professional as the previous lad) shite.

I always like to see incidents again - a lot to be said for moving pictures of the modern world over still pictures of yester year for properly judging an incident.
My original intepretation of the alleged elbow - was Thom should have been red carded - but viewing the coverage, I genuinely believed that even a yellow was harsh. As for the penalty incident, if that had been against the Rose, I would have been furious.
That's the breaks
Thats fine. I will take my services elsewhere
I am sure there are plenty who would be only
To happy for the level of coverage I provide the club. Its this kind of negativity that has
Led to me standing down as it is.0 -

Well you guys will definitely get value for money this season, there will be goals aplenty at both ends.
Talking points for me was the elbow on Andy McQuillan first half which only saw yellow and should have been red, then Andy rushing his shot which perhaps should have made it 3-1 at the break. However I thought we got away with one with the OG which was ruled out, not sure why.
Second half we were asleep and the OG was unfortunate and let you back in it and for 20 mins we were struggling a wee bit, but back we came and at the end should have had a penalty when Danny Campbell again got in behind your backline, stabbed a shot which your keeper blocked with his legs, and with Drummond running into the box towards the loose ball was bundled over. Ref waved it away. Before that Drummond, who had been pushed up from centre half, had another good chance to level.
Needless to say we were cought hopping pushing for the equaliser and conceded a fourth as time ran out, but overall a very good performance against a team which has quality all over the park, but one which has defensive issues. Our long balls were causing havoc, particularly first half. If we keep that level of performance up we'll stay up.
Thought Danny Smith was the best player on the park, and Darren Mitchell in goals for us pulled off some very good stops.
Thankfully the video quite clearly shows Gary Thom's so called elbow was nothing of the sort and never a red card. Anyone watching that and saying otherwise is at it

If the cameraperson is reading, a wind muffler around the microphone would help (there will also be settings in camera that can reduce wind noise). You can get them from Amazon or juryrig something.
Its a £200 Panasonic out of argos, does not take add on mics etc

Guys
In the middle of putting the programme together for the scottish cup tiecan anyone confirm who your assistant manager is now and also any coaches/physio ??
I know of David Jenkins as one physio, how many others are there ?0 -
I never actually realised Linlithgow gain membership due to meeting SFA guidelines and not on merit. This is totally wrong.
What !! Any club that plays within the SFA structure has the right to apply for membership if they meet the criteria set !!

This is totally spot on.
Junior fans are also very aggressive.
aye your right
while the thug players kick lumps out each other on the park
the fans all have running battles on the terraces.............
meanwhile the officials of both clubs are rolling around trading punches in hospitality as someone has
ate the last sausage roll and the bottle of grouse is empty............

Because it's not fair on clubs that meet such criteria - at sometimes large costs. Where's the incentive to get all teams under one unbrella. That should be the main goal. Have you been to many junior grounds? It would be embarrassing to allow them in our premier cup competition. Obviously Central is a dump but we meet regular standards at a large cost to the club.
Can Cowden enter the Scottish Junior cup though? As I've stated prior.
Their whole suspension system is a joke as well. Players playing that are thugs. If a junior keeper is given a straight red for denying a goal scoring opportunity his only punishment is missing the remaining duration of the game. Nothing else.
Their whole transfer policy is a mind f**k that I've never witnessed anything like it. Totally backwards organisation.
They want to play in our competition then can join our league system but they don't want to as theres too many glorified amateur clubs.
Anyway that's the last I'll say on it to avoid spamming up the thread and we clearly differ in views.
thank god for that as you are so miss informed its unreal !!
thankfully most can see that the junior clubs enhance the cup.
If there is anything backward around here its your views on junior football !!

Starting work on posters, programme ect for the game.
Anyone got a Hi Res version of the Raith badge so i can get posters sorted asap0 -
The flood lights are ok, there shouldn't be a need for an early kick off
I would imagine the game will KO a little earlier than normal !!
I will hazard a guess at 2pm KO
the lights are ok but not brilliant,

You say yourself that you weren't around then, so your opinion means nowt. I was affected by her policies and actions and I can assure you that no workers up here were looking to have their mines, steel works, shipyards etc, etc closed so they could avoid work.
I am not a man driven by hate but by God was I happy when I learned of her demise. An evil woman, who is probably pissing off everyone else in Hell right now.
For once the Rose and Boness boys can stand side by side and agree on something
certainly put a smile on my face yesterday when I learned the evil cow was gone at last

...wonder how much revenue the Elgin fans brought yesterday?
there was 9 I counted

749 - Count them if you want. That includes directors, sponsors, journalists and complimentary tickets so the 602 attendance mentioned is probably who paid at the gate.
So much for your 'call to arms'
Blow that up a bit and you can just see me taking pics trackside
not quite like tynecastle where I was supposed to be
anyone tell me why the 5 a side pitches out the back ar lying in ruin
surely a way to raise money either for the club or the council
The council neglected a lot of established junior clubs to pump money into Livi
and those junior clubs are now a little pissed off to say the least at the goings on
