  1. Not sure on the ticket situation (it was pay at the gate when I visited TB) but, that'll be class. Good Guys vs Bad Guys.
  2. I think this slightly lost on you. Perhaps you could check up on the difference between relegation and promotion firstly, and have a wee gander of your post. And if the concept of some classic, ultimately misplaced, pessimism after a crushing arse collapse, in the middle of horrific run, (with the possible consequence being relegation to the bottom tier) doesn't resonate with someone who supports a provincial team, then fair play to you Sir! Maybe have a wee afternoon snooze.
  3. Yes indeed. Morton loved a 2-1, late win over us at Cappielow for a while. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_div_1/8652966.stm - that relegation game. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37737978 - 2016, virtually the same timings involved.
  4. Not quite sure how that works, but I wish we were. Instead this was game 5 in a 9 game, 2 month long, winless run in the league - before we won our last 2 and stayed up on the last day. All with a team that started the season with Mark Roberts in charge. I hadn't thought of it as a great escape, but I think you're right actually.
  5. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/31883312 Ultimately didn't matter, but I remember being unable to converse with anyone for a day or two after this one. Genuinely felt we'd be going down to the bottom tier after this one. The league table in this link says it all.
  6. Glad to hear Leigh Griffiths isn't signing for us? Or just that he was having a rare old day at Pleasureland?
  7. This is tiring keeping up with, essentially, TWO threads on this.
  8. Wishing the young lads who frothed over the fence at the first goal all the best. Such insightful bants too. Where is our famous orange walk? I’ve often wondered. Why was there no hello hello or bouncy bouncy renditions today?
  9. Scott McLaughlin hates the h**s and talks extremely fondly of that day up at Brechin, and in general at Ayr, apart from the end. Good guy.
  10. Think it's Calum Paterson, must be getting announced on loan later today.
  11. If you wear that away strip at Somerset, it’ll be memories of this day against your dear Fife neighbours 10 years ago! Pic almost doesn’t do it justice, shambles.
  12. Excellent work FF. Highly enjoyable ones with Anderson and Barr too, but it was even better to get a proper Ayr insight on this one. What a guy is oor Paddy "etc" Boyle. He'll be missed.
  13. Brutal to have lost Moff. All the best to him of course. You may get the odd weird game where he looks a bit disinterested for periods, but overall he is a top player. Has the knack of retaining possession and doing that almost McFadden like thing of skinning folk in less than aesthetically pleasing manner. With the right man up front with him, he will score a good amount next season with some good service. Saying that, I can somehow see a semi difficult first season for him. Even then, he'd still hit 12-15. Great signing for The Pars on a couple of levels though. Well played.
  14. Tremoundously impressed with the ambition show by Ian Black and Dene Shiels. Black, on the tip of a potential Scotland squad call up if he kept his form from last year and similar for Shiels for N.I.
  15. *No idea if this has been posted as a (not very) funny* Regan and Doncaster are definitely 9 and 11...
  16. Why are some folk slagging Longmuir? Saying he's on the verge of tears etc? I thought he handled, what we say of, the press conference very well. Oh aye...
