  1. Others who haven’t been mentioned yet include Geneva, Ballboy, Mull Historical Society and Aberfeldy.
  2. Thanks. He’s seven. It’s nearly two months since we had the diagnosis. He’s still doing really well, enjoying all the extra treats and bonus meals he’s getting to combat the hunger caused by the steroids. We agreed that we’d do the palliative route and just keep him going for as long as possible. When we got the diagnosis, we didn’t expect him to see November, but we’re now wondering if he might even see out the year.
  3. Our two after an evening walk chasing some glow in the dark balls. Brodie, the boxer, sadly has cancer in his liver and lungs and is about six weeks into palliative care, so every day we get with him is a bonus. It’s all about trying to make sure he can spend his final days being as happy as we can realistically make him.
  4. Saw Summer Of Soul on Friday night at the Filmhouse. Absolutely outstanding film about the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival. Totally recommended. Will definitely go and see it again when it gets a general release. The musical performances from the likes of Stevie Wonder, The Fifth Dimension, The Staples Singers, David Ruffin, Sly and The Family Stone and Nina Simone amongst many others are utterly exceptional. http://
  5. The coverage was really shocking when you look back on it now. I think it was a month or so after Walters signed (late December 87 IIRC) Scottish Football Today had a story about his immediate impact on the game here. The following month, they ran a story on a former Hearts player.
  6. Charlie Nicholas on the cover of Scottish Football Today in July 1987
  7. Some great shouts already in this thread. I think I’d go with the following. Dummy - Portishead Maxinquaye - Tricky Blue Lines - Massive Attack Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters - The Twilight Sad A Walk Across The Rooftops - The Blue Nile
  8. Also going to Mogwai in Leith. Got The Twilight Sad at the Liquid Rooms in November. They were excellent at Hyde Park on The Cure's 40th Anniversary gig a couple of weeks ago.
  9. Many fans get tattoos to remind them of monumental events in their club’s history, such as cup finals, league titles or, erm, an Andy Little hat trick against Berwick Rangers...
  10. Enjoy! Looks an excellent gig! Saw Code Orange supporting Gojira in March and then again at Download. Absolutely loved them.
  11. Could be totally wrong here, but with the flags and the three letters on top of the pile, I'd guess the blonde woman is meant to represent Michelle O'Neill from Sinn Fein.
  12. Picked up a ticket for this earlier today. Can't wait for it.
