I'll be a-maize-d if we get a point from this seeing who you have as our Manager. I know we are "cereal" underachievers, our season has gone aw-rye, but too late to turn the corn-er now. I can barley stand going to games now but I'll probably make the effort cos it goes against the grain for me to stay away.
Good you spelt this oat or no one would know wheat you're on about

27 years since we have beaten Falkirk in the league since a Steve McCormick strike back in 1996
Shows just how far we had fallen that there have been so few league meetings between the clubs.
Some right humpings in there
That 5-2 game in 96 was my first brockville experience and it was an absolutely mental game!
Needless to say I was hooked

Given the playoffs is now our likeliest chance of promotion this year (as well as being in the cup) does anyone have the latest on Meekison? He may have a part to play yet if his injury isnt bad (or he is still with us)

If the writing on Mcguffies wall gets any bigger he'll need to build an extension

What a player he was as a young laddie for us but what a low life he has become.
Playing for Hibs did this to him basically

I see Alexis Mac Allister's brother Kevin is a right back for Argentinos Juniors. Could maybe tempt him by having already named a stand after him

If it's a manager involved in the playoffs then it could yet be Yogi and the thought of him two footing Brad McKay in training is slightly erotic tbf

Falkirk are a team that worry me purely because, at any point, they could put in a half decent performance

Shocking news. As a youth dreaming of playing on the hallowed gabba turf, my heroes were Abdul Qadir and Shane Warne.
That test attack of Warne and McGrath was like nothing else for relentlessness.
RIP Warnie, genuinely the goat

If a DoF's role is to go out and find players then Houston is not the man for that job, unless we just want to see the same faces from the central belt.
You wouldn't have him in charge of recruitment obviously, but coaching and player development. Whatever Alex Smith's job title was essentially. Picking up players would be between head of scouting and head coach.
Worrying when the highest footballing authority at the club is an absolute chancer like Gary Holt.
Moot point we even require a DoF/SD but more football brains wouldn't go amiss

I agree with earlier shouts to give it to Houstie til the end of the season then give him the DoF gig, tho be interesting to see how Grainger gets on in the interim. I quite like the cut of his jib as he comes over a no nonsense type, and he'll need to be. I think it's fair to say most of the team have shown themselves to be a least competent however sporadically.
Interesting first game in charge for him given the opposition and how at least basically competent they are. Good luck Danny x
Holt can surely be put on gardening leave or otherwise mutuallyed. Anything to get the clown shoes toe stepping gibbering goon tf would be another positive step

Speaking to a former FFC staff member today who confirmed much of the allegations re over involvement of the Killie kit man in our first team
For me this is the only element of doubt over Sheerin, I imagine Holt's backseat driving undermines his (Sheerin's) authority with the players. Even M & M were doing just about ok (iirc) before laughing boy's arrival. Thereafter performances absolutely plummeted, and somehow got even worse under his caretakership. The guy's a clueless chancer and really needs to be next out the door

Gary Holt is bafflingly cocky for someone of such mediocre ability. Far less his actual success rate
