One positive from yesterday is that Green & McCoist are now showing a level of acceptance & contrition that they should have shown from the start. I firmly believe that if they had been saying these things all along then the fans backlash would have been minimised and they would still be in the SPL. Thanks Greeno. Thanks Fatboy.

That the whole point though. Decisions on Dual Contracts and the penalty from the Apellate Tribunal need to be decided before SFL clubs can decide whether to admit Sevco - nevermind at what level they should be admitted. If they are admitted to any league, fixtures need to be reshuffled. If the Apellate Tribunal THEN decides that a suspension or expulsion is appropriate then we have complete chaos again - and no time to reorganise.

While I agree with almost everyting in the Hibs statement - its easy to make these comments froma position where your club has abdicated responsibility of that tough decision and delegated it to the SFL. It therefore doesn't really matter what supporters organisiations of the SPL clubs think - its up to the SFL supporters to stand firm, canvass our clubs, and work for the long term future of our game. Not a short term kneejerk hvn saving scheme.

I want that shake up. But i want it to be properly debated and thought out. Not rushed through to faciltate a new club and to appease the Bully Boys. In addition, any new club entering the league set up should apply to join at the entry level. This would happen with any other club and Newco are no different. I want a shake up, but I dont want rules bent to accommodate one club........and I really dont want my club being forced to spend 10's of thousands of pounds policing that mob next year. Its far too soon after the firebomb threats etc Edited due to my fuddled, gin fucked fingers.

1. 16 million will be lost to Scottish football if SEVCO5088 are not parachuted into SFL1 2. The majority of this will impact the SPL clubs or SEVCO themselves 3. Some SPL clubs may enter administration if this happens 4. With this knowledge, none of the 11 SPL clubs voted to allow entry to SEVCO5088 to the SPL So, in the full knowledge of the implications for them, SPL clubs did not allow entry. Any implication that SEVCO5088 MUST be parachuted into the SFL1 to save scottish football from meltdown is irrelavent - even if it is true. The clubs that will be impacted the most know full well the potential impact on them and also that the only route for SEVCO5088 if to apply for admission to SFL3. But they have voted in favour of scottish football finding its true level and living within its means - even if some of them become casualties themselves. The need to be commended for that and the SFA has an obligation to support that.
