  1. We have scored 66 goals in all competitions this season shared between 14 players. Pawlett is just getting his fitness back and has already contributed four goals. A horrendous injury list this season coupled with Stenny's unbeaten run (stopped by us) might have made it a closer title race. We have already beaten Annan this season in the cup and it's not as if we've no experience of League One.

  4. If we had been offered a draw before kick off, we would have taken it as playing in that wind on a heavy pitch was always going to be a lottery. The referee was quite happy with conditions at the 8.30 inspection but was beginning to change his mind nearer kick off when the wind got up. The thought of having to play that game midweek with the possibility of play offs looming was looking a real possibility but happily it went ahead. Well done to Bonnyrigg who played well in the conditions and stopped us spoiling Stenny's party.
  5. Forecast is for a sunny day and no rain. Winds in excess of 50mph. It'll just be like playing at Balmoor.
  6. Yeah. Pity it was your defence that struggled to see it.

  9. Good to see Jason Brown returning after being out since the beginning of January. We have been missing an experienced central defender and while the young lads have been doing well, Jason's the club captain and keeps the defence tight. We will be going all out to win this as a loss could see us drop to fourth in the table. Dumbarton and the Spartans look to both have winnable games and East Fife are racing up the table and could have a say in the play off spots.

  11. We've not got a great record against Dick Campbell teams. I'd settle for a repeat from our last encounter with us getting the equaliser in the 96th minute. (Cue seethe from EFTV)

  15. I knew we shouldn't have let the Trump organisation do our books. Last season was a total disaster with our performance on the pitch affecting the attendances at Balmoor. We were also paying over the odds in wages for some of Robertson's signings. This season, attendances are amongst the highest in the division, corporate hospitality has increased greatly and many new sponsors have come on board. I wouldn't think that we would have such a deficit for next year'.

  21. Looks like we might be coming out of our injury problems. There were only 11 fit players during the week but signing two loanees and getting a few half fit players back made the difference. As an example of how bad our injuries have been, even the kit man has a broken ankle. Thought the game changed in the second half when we reverted to fast pressing and got our reward for that. The standard of refereeing in this league can leave a lot to be desired. East Fife fans were moaning about Austin being flagged off side when he was on. Go back seven days to our trip to Stranraer when Orr was a mile offside but the linesman's flag stayed down and he went on to score. Its swings and roundabouts with the officials this season and every team has similar stories.
