Not wanting to appear paranoid -but.......We all know the theory that ' these things even themselves out over the course of the season ' . Let's hope that's true because, if it is, we must be due some spectacular results in the remaining games because we've been on the receiving end of some really jaw-dropping, piss-poor, game -changing refereeing and ref's assistant decisions on numerous occasions this season.

Still a long way to go, can imagine numerous ways this could all pan out. If Raith falter, the Arabs could have this wrapped up in jig time. Then all subsequent games for anyone against Dundee United with them potentially wearing their flip-flops . For that reason I hope the title goes to the wire. Don't think there is much to separate the other clubs and even Arbroath could still claw their way out of trouble ( hope so, as long as it's not at our expense!) It's going to be nip and tuck with pretty much every game being the proverbial six pointer. I still reckon 3rd and 4th place are there for the taking if anyone puts a decent late run together. In the unlikely event that anyone missed last week's Go Radio Business Show with Hunter & Haughey (yes I am joking!), there was an interesting wee piece about U.S. Billionaire Bill Foley's investment in Hibs with a view to using them as a feeder club for the other team he owns (Bournemouth). I would add a link to the podcast at this point if I wasn't such a techno-fud! (You can get it on Spotify). Suffice it to say the Laird was seemingly a big fan of this concept and finished the item with the words "Watch this space". Just thought I would put this out there in case it flew completely under the radar.

Just listened to the latest episode of the excellent Spiders Talk podcast. If it's anything like the one in the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie I'm pretty sure I could hear the 'predator' you mentioned in the background most of the way through it!

Last season, our heroes in black and white were flying. With a squad comprised of a few seasoned pro's, a handful of loanees and a smattering of young talents under O C's stewardship it felt like there was no stopping us. Ultimately, we flew too close to the Sun. Icarus All-sorts you might say................ sorry! I still feel we have enough about us to stop the rot and turn this around. A bit more self-belief and a bit less 'over- thinking' it could do wonders for us. 'mon the Spiders!

This guy has played in the Premiership both North and South of the border. With a chance to establish himself in the team I reckon he'll be the real deal.

Just thinking .....There's still a hell of a lot of football to be played this season. Another 69 points is still up for grabs. We've had a tough time of it since August but the players that won us the match in Inverness are all still with us and we've been able to strengthen the squad with the addition of Stuart McKinstry! A change of fortune is long overdue. 'mon the Spiders!

Also quite gutted that he's gone. I am now wondering if he's going to be replaced with another Director of Football Operations or whether we'll return to a more 'traditional 'Scottish set-up. Whichever it is, I hope the academy continues in the way he intended and that we reap the rewards in years to come. Personally, I feel that it would be really disappointing if the "dent in the universe" was down-graded to a scuffed bumper en route to the launch-pad !
