  1. Seem to remember someone saying that Bournemouth had 5 keepers on their books when he rocked up there. Already making the bench for the first team, for a 17 year old, that's meteoric progress!
  2. Caley crossbars played a blinder last night, hope we can capitalise on that! Would like to see Charlie Fox back in today with Jack Thomson back in midfield and Jack Turner further forward. A return for Dom Thomas would be sublime. 'mon the Spiders !
  3. Think I'm right in saying it was your club that had the mega- lottery winner in it's ranks. How's that working out for you?
  4. Imho l reckon we're lucky to have him. Can't think of many players in the Championship l would want to swap for him.
  5. Not wanting to appear paranoid -but.......We all know the theory that ' these things even themselves out over the course of the season ' . Let's hope that's true because, if it is, we must be due some spectacular results in the remaining games because we've been on the receiving end of some really jaw-dropping, piss-poor, game -changing refereeing and ref's assistant decisions on numerous occasions this season.
  6. Still a long way to go, can imagine numerous ways this could all pan out. If Raith falter, the Arabs could have this wrapped up in jig time. Then all subsequent games for anyone against Dundee United with them potentially wearing their flip-flops . For that reason I hope the title goes to the wire. Don't think there is much to separate the other clubs and even Arbroath could still claw their way out of trouble ( hope so, as long as it's not at our expense!) It's going to be nip and tuck with pretty much every game being the proverbial six pointer. I still reckon 3rd and 4th place are there for the taking if anyone puts a decent late run together. Would love it to be us. 'mon the Spiders !
  7. Assuming the Sheriff is playing on Saturday, I hope our normally excellent stadium announcer has done a lorra lorra homework on how to pronounce his first name!
  8. In the unlikely event that anyone missed last week's Go Radio Business Show with Hunter & Haughey (yes I am joking!), there was an interesting wee piece about U.S. Billionaire Bill Foley's investment in Hibs with a view to using them as a feeder club for the other team he owns (Bournemouth). I would add a link to the podcast at this point if I wasn't such a techno-fud! (You can get it on Spotify). Suffice it to say the Laird was seemingly a big fan of this concept and finished the item with the words "Watch this space". Just thought I would put this out there in case it flew completely under the radar.
  9. Motm up at Inverness on Saturday for me. Really solid performance.
